Especially for people on a budget who want to play all these great games but dont' want to shell out the dough for a wii.... only to use it to play gamecube games anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

excuse me, Twilight princess for the wii was a GAMECUBE PORT. Not a multiplat release. Miyamoto himself said it was a wiimake, aka gamecube port.

Re4 and VJ were exclusives for the GC for almost a year...

and SCII was exclusive in the fact it had Link.

MGS:TS was also a new game soley released for the GC when it could have also gone to the PS2 because they redone the graphics. Just like Conker reloaded was a new game because of the graphics boost. It's not the same thing as a port.

I don't really consdier the ps2 a 'legacy' console by any means.

it still sells 160,000 consoles a MONTH and has tons of games still coming out for it and it's in stores everywhere.

and I feel if a game came out for only one console and was later ported or whatever, it was still an exclusive even for a short period of time which gave that console the edge. Unless it was released at the same time, it's different. Much like Bioshock is still a 360 exclusive... later ported to the ps3.

if you don't agree ask yourself if Sonic 1 was a Genesis game, or a nintendo game because it's out on the VC.
