So I'm thinking about getting gamefly as my local game renting place just went up to TEN DOLLARS for a friggen 5 day rental..lame...anyways I'm in maine and i was just wondering how fast gamefly delivers. I don't wanna be waitinga week to get a game then send it back to take a week..coz then in all seriousness it wouldn't be worth it..

Also i noticed buying some of the games are pretty cheap. But do they come in just a sleeve or do they come in the box? Thanks for the help guys

There is about 3 days on each end, 3 days to get it out there, 3 days to a new one back to you. Sometime shorter.

Check the FAQ on Gamefly's site to see if they have a shipping center near you. It also depends if your post office scans mail, I'm not sure if its standard or if its only in big cities, but I live in a pretty small town and the games will get scaned sometimes. That will cut a day or two off the time.

I'm in Connecticut and I use GameFly all the time. At first, when they only had a distribution center on the west coast, response and delivery time was pretty bad. But now that they've opened up an east coast distribution operations, it's a LOT better. Typically, I get a game about 3-4 days after it gets shipped from my Game Q, and they will receive them in about the same time. So it's a good turnaround time. As for defective rates, I've had 2 defective discs in the past year, and I've rented a total of about 60 games.

The only problem I have is that the availability of new titles still isn't up to par. It's far too difficult to rent a brand new game, especially if it's a high-profile name. It's my only complaint, but it's a significant one.
