My gramma died 4 years ago. That tells you how slow gamefly is lately.

Maybe its just the Holiday but its taking 7+ days for them to recieve my games! I'm in Denver and sending to Austin I believe. Thats really not THAT far.

Usually my timeline is like this:

Monday: Send game back

Thursday: Game arrives and game from my queue is sent out

Saturday: Recieve Wii game; Play for 30 minutes. Realize its garbage. Send back monday.

Lately I got a PS3 and this is how it has worked.

FRIDAY: Send back Game

Next Friday: Game Arrives at Gamefly Austin

Next Tuesday: Game Arrives in Denver.

Gooooood Lord! Thats like 11 days without a game or something. ( I didn't attempt the math as I'm too angry!!)

Anyone else experience slow turn around lately? Its really my only complaint about gamefly! (but a big one)

Shipping has been smooth for me through the holidays. Have you reproted it? 2-3 days consistently from the PA ship center. I am on the 2 games at time plan and I always keep one game when i send back one, which is nice way to go. Also if your Q is too small or too big, or only have games with low availability it can sometimes slow shipping i think. Some games can tale Thing is they are the best online renter out there, so if want to get their deals and rent online, gamefly is the one to use.

I've tried a few online game rental services and they all tend to do the same thing. For the first month you get fantastic service and turnaround times. Send it back Monday, and you have the new game on Wednesday. But the longer you stay with them, and the more they think you are a permanent customer, the service gets slower and slower. The new game arrives later, or you don't get the games at the top of your list. The only way to fix it is to leave, then sign up again. Quite often they will send you offers with better rates to come back on, so its better to keep switching than sticking with one company.

Gamefly is still a lot cheaper than renting games individually from blockbuster. All I can say is, you get what you pay for.

Hmm, not like that at all for me Monday: Send out game Tuesday/Wednesday: Gamyfly sends me a new game via quick return(or w.e. it's called) Thursday/Friday: I get my game in the mail.
