I've been thinking of getting a subscription to a gamer magazine and am stuck between EGM and GI. While I believe GI may be the better choice (did some forum searching), its also $17 a year more (since im considered international). Its not really a huge deal but is there really that big a difference between the two? EGM seems more customer friendly for customers outside the US (tried contacting GI with little success).

Thanks.

I was a GI subscriber for two years and I really, really liked that magazine. I stopped because I just became too lazy to renew after a while. I've read EGM on occasion like on road trips and such. EGM seems more like a reviewers magazine to me. Game Informer has sections with previews on that month's game, which is why I liked it.

As far as the customer support thing goes... I really don't think I can help.

Overall, I liked GI better because there was more to read. But EGM is really good for a quick glance at previews and reviews. Depends now on what you want out of a magazine.
