games and counsels of the decade

As you know we are nearing the end of a decade that was awesome in the terms of videogames and technology and we pretty much got to play the ps1 in its ending life span ( 2000 ) before the ps2 and xbox came out in 2001 then 2006 the xbox 360 and the ps3 later on so outta all this what were your favorite systems and games of this decade. - for me i was still sorta hooked to the ps1 and the ps2 came out which was amazing in graphics alone and the games of all kinds marvel vs capcom 2 resident evil 4 metal gear solid 2 and the NFS series and burnouand grand theft auto 3 and vice city ect...

That's a toughie...I'd go with the 360 for console if we aren't going only legacy consoles, but if we're only legacy consoles I'd probably go with the PS2. For game, I haven't the foggiest, but going by genre, here's my favorites...:

Fighting:Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection

FPS:Return To Castle Wolfenstein or Call Of Duty World At War(I know, call me weird...=P)

Third-person shooter:Star Wars Battlefront 2

Strategy:Warcraft 3 or Medieval Total War 2

Action RPG:Jeez, Iunno...maybe Neverwinter Nights 1 or Mass Effect? Not too sure. =P If Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II on the Gamecube counts, that's definitely up there too.

Adventure:Legend Of Zelda Wind Waker's the only one I can really remember playing, so I'll go with that even though I didn't like it a lot(it was GOOD, but that whole boat thing sorta ticked me off...)

Kart racing:Mario Kart Wii. =P Are there any other kart racing franchises...? I need one for my 360, my Wii busted(oddly enough, you'd think it'd be the opposite...)

Racing sim:Forza 2

...now, let's see how many people scream Shenmue and Shadow Of The Colossus at me. XD

games:gtasa, zelda ww and gt3

consoles: ps2 360 and gcn

handhelds: dsL and psp

Console: PS2

Game: Final Fantasy XII

game of the decade : tough choice, either FF10 or MGS2 or 3

Console of the decade: Can't say for sure

Game of the Decade: Pikmin 2 (2004)

Game : Halo : CE

Theres the Crash Bandicoot karting series (PS1/PS2) and Speed Freaks/Punks for PS1, but for your 360 I dunno.
