Happy new year everyone. Let's see, it's January and the only game I'm looking forward to getting is Dying Light on PS4 and it will be my first game purchase for 2015.

Currently got a big backlog of games lol, gonna take atleast 6 months to complete em all Heh.

I'm set for the next few months as well. Dragon Age: Inquisition, Fallout New Vegas, Oblivion, Metro 2033, AC: Black Flag are waiting for me to finish them. And since university is keeping me very busy, I don't game as much or often as I'd like.

Do that one last, I think you should do the HD trilogies 1st since most are under 10 hours long for each separate game.

Can you help me a bit regarding Jak and Daxter HD Trilogy? Stuck like ages in Destroy drill platform on hero mode ( Jak II ). Any tips ?

I'm guessing it's because Haven is a player base(and a small one compared to the basic one which is accessible later on). Horses are unmountable in a few areas due to environmental specifications(the swamp area is the only other one I've noticed so far). Apart from those, you can ride them almost everywhere.

Lol probably a bit late now, but Happy New Year! I see the lounge got updated. Winter's can always be harsh, in many places across the globe, definitely am eager for Spring/Summer/Fall to arrive.

Anyone planning picking up Dying Light? I'm still having a hard time should I st it for PS4 or Xbox One. Since none of my friends don't have PC for co-op, it has to be Xbox One or PS4.

Did you go with Nvidia or AMD for your gpu? Personally I go with Nvidia now as I have 2 4GB GTX 670s. I don't see myself upgrading until over a year or so.

AMD. I am going to build another one, eventually.

Oh yeah AMD is really good for single card setups, though I've been focusing on dual setups for a bit, I don't know if I will go single for the next upgrade but anything can happen. I'm definitely only using Intel for cpus from now on though.

@mitu123: They both have pros and cons and the competition between them stimulates the computer hardware market.

If AMD gives me a better deal I may go with them next, but I'm taking a wait and see approach.

I really should just finish the games listed in the sig, though Dragon Age will take forever still due to being so damn long!

I prefer Intel processors because of their performance, but AMD processors are less expensive, on average. Budget builds are what AMD processors and graphics processing units are best utilized for and there is definitely a market for them. Modest price for decent performance is acceptable for many. For high performance, Intel is the best choice of processor. That said, there are more to computers than those two components, of course.

I'm all about that raw performance so Intel for me, hell I just saw The Witcher 3's requirements and my i5 is the minimum!!! I don't know when I'll get the game though.
