Well seeing as how I'm 17... I was fairly young when we got the PS1 and I used to love to play Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey and Spyro. I thought it was hilarious when my dad would push that button that makes Abe fart. :P
How about you guys?

Super Mario Bros was one of my favorites when i was younger, as well as Tecmo Football, and Excitebike.
My cousin got Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt and an NES the beginning of one summer, and we barely saw the sun that year. Our parents didnt know what to do; all of a sudden we were in the house all the time, when before that they couldnt keep us from going out to play....
Super Mario World was my first game and is awesome. From those days my favorites had to be Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Turtles in Time, and Double Dragon & Battle Toads. Good times.
I could go on about all the usual games from the late eighties to early nineties but a game, well two, that I recently remembered, Battle Clash and Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge. I loved both these games immensely.
Doom :DLuciole_fr
Ah yes. It still has one of the creepiest soundtracks out there. It scared the crap out of me when I was 7.
Freakin Donkey kong country for the snes. That's where it was at man! I beat that game so many times as a kid. Seriously like, 50 at the least. Obsessed much?
Revenge Of Shinobi, Desert Strike, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Sonic 2, Super Hang On, Madden, T2: The Arcade Game, Comix Zone, Alien Soldier... Those were some of my favourite gaming memories from the Megadrive era.
In terms of PsOne, I loved Syphon Filter, Resi Evil 3: Nemesis, and Tenchu 2: Birth Of The Stealth Assassins to name a few.. There were tonnes of great memories. Even the Net Yaroze demo disc had a lot of gems on it. I also loved the F1 games. My cousin was a programmer on the '99 edition, and it was equally weird and cool to see his name on the credits.
While i played the Atari first, I was so young I can't remember too much about most of the games, but River Raid was my favorite.
NES was awesome for me, loved all the Mario games, TMNT games, so many more I can't list them all.
My absolute favorite game from my childhood though, is Flashback. My friend and I loved this game. We would play side by side on 2 systems and 2 tv's to see who could beat it the fastest. We even recorded our games, got 2 VCR's and put music to the movies. It was great. Anyone else here remember Flashback? It was on many systems, but I played it on the Sega Genesis.
Contra, Alien syndrome, Super Mario Brothers 1, 2 and 3; Zelda and Mega Man 2. Those are the games I remember growing up and playing the hell out of. Sure there were many others, but those games stick out as being the best gaming times when I was a kid
when I was really young, as in 3 years old, I used to watch my uncle play the original Prince of Persia on the PC, I think this was the first game I ever played, or it could have been Golden Axe.
games seemed very interesting and surprising when youre a little kid, much morethen when youre an adult.
I remember having an Atari when I was about 6 or 7. I'd play stuff like Qbert and Centipede on it...damn, do I feel old...
When we got our fist computer, I'd play stuff like Secret Agent, the original side-scrolling Duke Nukem games, and Doom. Heck, after Doom, I was pretty much a PC gamer exclusively.
