Games no one has played but everyone should...

Well me is bored. So I have decided to start up a thread. I would like to suggest that everyone who contributes to this thread post their choice of a game (or games) that few have played but that everyone should play. While this is difficult in a time where fantastic new releases are around every corner; there are still those classics (and perhaps not so classic) games that did not recieve the attention they deserve. Aside from Mercenaries, I cannot think of one myself. Hmmm, maybe Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge also. Anyway, I would love to hear the rest of the community's thoughts on this matter and their picks for "games no one has played but everyone should."

Blood will tell. Simply a great game with lots of weird aspects that make its story ingrossing.

Shadow Of The Colussus (PS2) - While not completely unknown, it still deserves much more recognition.

Okami (PS2) - One of my favorite games of last generation. Didn't sell too well, who's lack of success helped put the talented developer (Clover) under. :( At least it's coming to Wii, and may get more recognition. Just an incredible game in ever respect.

Please play Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. The Sanity meter will give you some of the biggest scares (and laughs) in a game.

Agree about the KUF games, but please STAY AWAY from the X360 one (Circle of Doom), it's nothing like the old ones.

I'd also like to recommend Frequency and Amplitude. If it wasn't for those games, Guitar Hero would never have happened. Plus, viewed purely as games, I think they're better.

I assume we're only considering this and last generation, so P3, Killer 7, Grim Grimoire (well, maybe EVERYONE shouldn't play it..), Okami, Rez, Space Channel 5, Beyond Good and Evil, Psychonauts, Ico, Oddworld: Strangers Wrath, and Mr. Mosquito (regardless of the collision detection in M.M.) all come to mind. I can't really think of any current-gen unrecognized gems, unless Viva Pinata counts, which I don't believe does.

I'm pretty sure Shadow of the Colossus is a PS2 Greatest Hits title...

I'm surprised nobody mentioned suikdoden 3. That is easily my all-time favorite rpg. I love how you play through the story going back and forth between the perspectives of the 3 main character who all seem to be on different sides of a conflict, but then come together and unite for a common cause.UT_Wrestler

Suikoden II is a RPG that EVERY, and I mean, EVERY RPG fan should play.

But because of more technically advanced games (at its time) like FFVII, Chrono Cross, and Legend of Dragoon, I think Suikoden II got overlooked.

I almost missed to mention Arc the Lad II ...the peak of the series and only FF Tactics (the PS1 part of course,NOT FFTA) could really challenge it.Great Atmosphere,long playtime and much to to...all people who like RBS should have played it.

Lunar : Eternal Blue is unique and shows that even for todays standards "bad" graphics can be beaten by gameplay.This game fits from beginning to the end.

I think Arcana Heart will be one of these games.ASK_Story
