Games that can be finished in one day

Ok, retro gamers, what are the games that you can finished only in one day? Mine's are the PS1 games such as Runabout 2 and Raystorm.

Chrono Trigger.

Most games I own from PSX and before I can beat in one sitting, and in less than a few hours. Some PS2 games also. There's way too many to list here.

I think there are loads. I was a bit dissapointed I took Outrun for all it had in about 3 hours :(.

That's all that comes to mind other than the obvious Mario and Double Dragon and Ninja Gaidan and whatnot.

Sometimes I will play The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and beat it in one sitting just for fun.trick_man01

I do this 3-4 times a year.

Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Megaman X (I can actually speed run this in about 50 minutes.), Super Castlevanis, Super Mario World, Yoshis Island, Super mario RPG, Turtles 4, Starfox, Starfox 64, Kirby Superstar, Kung Fu for NES (like under 10 minutes), any megaman game on NES, Zelda 2. (I still haven't touched the first one :() Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Jet Grind Radio for Dreamcast. Shadow of colossus. I could go on.

Theoretically, it is possible for anyone to beat Chrono Trigger in a matter of around three and a half hours on a new game file; it's just very hard to do so. Really, tons of games could be beaten in one day, if the game is "broken" enough and the player has enough dedication.

I've only really played through the Sonic 1/2/3/&Knuckles on the Mega Drive in one sitting,multiple times, though it is very fun

I enjoy going through an entire civilization IV game once in a while.
Takes some dedication on this slow pc, but it makes for an excellent wasted day.

There are quite a few, most of them NES titles. in particular I can think of:

• SMB 1-3
• Metroid
• Gun Nac
• Section Z
• Wurm: Journey to the Center of the Earth
• Hydlide

For other systems:

• MGS
• Star Ocean 3
• Metriod Fusion - this is probably the one I can beat most quickly. I do it consistently in under 90 minutes.

This PS2 game,The Bouncer.

Every kirby game I've played can easily be beaten in a few hours. And they all very awesome.

I've done this with Mario 1-3, Super Mario World, Sonic 1, Donkey Kong Country 1, Super Castlevania IV, Megaman/Megaman X games, Metroid games.

All these come to mind.

I beat the main storyline of Crash Team Racing's adventure in one sitting, only took me like 2 or 2 and a half hours. I could've achieved 101% in one day, but I started at 1AM so I didn't really feel like continuing.

Beyond the NES and a few SNES titles the only game that I set out to beat in a day is Final Fantasy Tactics. Beat that game in 11 hours.

Oh yeah, edit to add that I beat Resident Evil 4 in almost no time when I actually obtained the rocket launcher with unlimited ammo. lol

I can beat Mario triology, little nemo dream master, NAruto ninja council 2 for GBA and GOW III for ps3 among others

if your a new gamer or new to a certain game no game is finish in one day but after a few playthroughs ,

goldeneye can be beaten in one day on at least one difficulty setting ,

other wise it take a day per difficulty if you dotn die ,.play non stop , ,

mario kart 64 definatelly is a game to be beaten in less then a day no matter what,

THATS THE MAIN prOBLEM THIs gen , games can be beaten in a day, most of them

i just got cod mw like a week ago i beat it that same day ,

gta iv i beat in a few days , but i was collecting stuff so if iwas not i bet i could just finish the story in a day ,

as i did for the expansions ,

saints row does take a little longer cause you gotta refeul your respect before doing missions, so ya

Tekken 4 was so fun but only took a few hours to unlock every character.

Just about any game (excluding those 60+h RPGs) can be beaten in a day. Most recently for me: Super Smash Bros. Can be beaten in like 15 minutes.tjoeb123

Metal gear solid 3, awesome game but I could finish it in a few hours if I really wanted. I Love to play that game over the course of a few days, take things slowly and get my money's worth.

oh....um......morrowind....ya....thats right.......

on a more serious note I could beat contra without putting in the konami code in about 30 min and thats no joke either.I must say that it took me a while to get that good at it though.
