I want a GTA HD release to tie me over till GTA V
KOTOR HD (I know it will never happen)

REmake
RE0
even for gamecube the graphics of these games are strong and can still hold their own every well to todays standards
F-Zero GX
Star Fox Adventures and Assault
Killzone(this game needs more than an HD release)
Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2
I would have liked it if they would have remastered Contra when they released it as a downloadable arcade game. I would like to see more of the older Nintendo platformers get an HD remix... I wish they would so some of the older Mega Man games with new HD graphics.
I've seen threads like this countless times before so here I go again:
Would love to see an HD trilogy that consisted of LOK: Soul Reaver 1, 2, and Defiance. Not to mention a seperate HD release for both Blood Omen 1 and 2, although I felt that 2 was and still is inferior compared to 1. 1 was the better game than 2 was, in other words.
Just leave the past where it belongs and move forward. Modern games are generic and similar enough as it is without straight up re-releasing old games.famicommanderSome games have not aged well, turning me off of going back to them.

I reject the notion of a game's quality changing over time. I don't believe any game I own (and, at last count, that was a few thousand going back to 2600) has "aged" any differently than any other. There were times where technical prowess and hype made it easier to ignore flaws, but the flaws were there nonetheless. Bad game design is bad game design and good game desigb is good game design irrespective of release date.

- Hitman HD Trilogy: Hitman 2 Silent Assassin, Hitman Contracts and Hitman Blood Money,
- Grand Theft Auto HD Trilogy: GTA III, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas.

That is the most beautiful thing i have ever seen in my life. These are the last 2 collections i really care about & yet neither exist.
THis 100 times over.
BTW did you put together the Hitman cover or did you find it?

Found it, i'm hoping they make a Hitman collection before Absolution like they have with Tomb Raider.Yes and yes.Max Payne series would be great in HD, as would Doom 3, San Andreas and Vice City.

Metroid is a pretty average game by today's standards. When it was released, it pretty much defined the Metroidvania genre, and was exteremely addictive.
There are games that age well, and games that don't -- their quality is still relative to the time they were released, not the time they were played. You can't judge a game that was released ten years ago by today's standards, specially when you consider that back then it might be dabbling in novel possibilities that would later on be enhanced and further explored by newer games.
I would literally cum in my pants if a KOTOR HD and Vice City HD got made.
And if they remade KOTOR II, add in the cut content.
I seriously would ejaculate in my pants, not kidding.

The original Metroid perhaps but Super Metroid is still one of the best games ever made, easily.
I have played quite a few HD collections this year. Have stayed away from crappy ones like Ubisoft's splinter cell and tomb raider collections, so my experience with them has largely been positive. God of War 1 and 2 blew me away, ICO looks stunning, and the PSP revisions of God of War were a blast to play on the big screen. Still SOTC and MGS collection didn't feel all that special even though they ran at 60 fps. I suppose it has more to do with the archaic control scheme and poor textures of the games, but they didn't really blow me away.
After playing some of the current gen games in full HD with high res textures, I am ready for current gen games running at full HD at 60 fps. Crysis 2 looks stunning on PC, so does Need For speed, Rage, Splinter Cell Conviction, AC2 and Batman AC.
I would love to play the Uncharted games at 60 fps at 1080p. Infamous too. Motorstorm and MGS4 will look fantastic as well.
PS2 Final Fantasy games, and Resident Evil 0, because its never been on PS and I have never gotten to play it.
The Punisher- still the best comicbook game out there.El_Zo1212o
Except for the Batman titles. But its fvcking amazing.

Nah, I'm still gonna have to give it to Frank- the Arkham games feel more like badass addendums to Batman: The Animated Series.I've been clamoring for a MGS remake for 3DS. Of course, they'd need to come up with a new gimmick for Psycho Mantis...Metal Gear Solid, but next gen, not this one.

I disagree. MGS caters to big sound and visuals. Next gen consoles--FOx Engine.

You can get big sound out of a half decent pair of headphones(and I just happen to own a superb pair), and the 3D effect is all the 'Big' visuals I require. But if they ever remake it, for the love of god, keep the top down perspective![QUOTE="Ilovegames1992"][QUOTE="El_Zo1212o"]The Punisher- still the best comicbook game out there.El_Zo1212o

I agree on the three original Resident Evil games, though unlikely.
For me, Onimusha (my favourite action games on PS2), Max Payne, Crash Bandicoot (I know, I know - not the series it was following the departure from ND, but still fun) and Black (phenomenal shooter).

Yes!!! I want Kotor and Kotor 2 rereleased. They are so buggy on every current platform they are pretty much unplayable on the 360 (slowdown, stuttery audio and sadly it's the most playable), PC (can't even get the stupid thing to launch on Windows 7 and if it does by some miracle its so blown out a proportion I can't do a stinking thing and have for force quit and from what I hear the Mac version doesn't run so well on the newest Mac OS. So I would love both to be formatted for Widescreen and be reworked a bit to run properly on todays consoels and newer OS's.
