What are some games that you would love to come to fruition that are not currently in production... as far as we know anyways..
two that come to mind is KOTOR 3, Star Wars Battlefront 3, watching the Star Wars blu ray made me think of those.. :)

Agree with those two. The thought of KOTOR 3 in production makes me wet.
GTA V probably too. Half Life 3, Left 4 Dead 3.
The bitter self inside me is wishing that TOR will take a substantial hit (maybe not total collapse), just enough to show Bioware a good single player KoTOR is in order.

This. I really, really hope TOR fails miserably so they make a real sequel instead of a crappy MMO.

I have very conflicted feelings about TOR. When it was first announced I was pretty ticked off. Especially considering all the rumors floating around for years that KOTOR 3 was in production. I really had high hopes that we would see a beautiful HD KOTOR for the new systems.
I will probably give TOR a try. Just because it's the closest thing I'll get for a while.
I hope that they do consider making KOTOR 3 though. There is such a dedicated fanbase that would eat it up. It would inevitably do very well.

No you read that correctly :)
Double Dragon. I don't count the HD arcade version as a remake. I would love a solid DD game with more moves, weapons and bosses.
Maybe Bayou Billy. I just wants to 'rasstle me a gator this gen lol.
They should scrap all the new DBZ games coming out and make DBZ budokai tenkaichi 4. 3 was awesome but they could improve it a lot on a newer gaming system.
Another Dragon Age that goes back to the original formula.chicknfeet
I wouldn't mind a happy medium between 1 and 2. I did like how combat was a bit more fluid in the second, but the story and characters weren't very interesting. I lost interest after about 4 hours.
I don't know if these games totally fit in with the criteria of the thread, as these are not ESSENTIAL games, but for those who remember Cannon Fodder 1 and 2... well, those were really really really fun games. It'd be interesting to see some sort of modern, yet still simple and accessible, reboot of the game.
random but important is hitman, tomb raider, destruction derby, gta, creed and a proper version of manhunt again
