Games to movies

Okay i dont know if anyone has asked but what do all of you think about turning games into movies.

and if you could choose what game or games would you turn into movies.

its a cheap way to make money really. the people that make a film that used to be a game usually do it very badly.

Resident Evil movies were good, Mortal Kombat movies were not. Alone in the Dark was so bad it's hard to describe. Super Mario Bros was fun, though it had nothing to do with the game. Street Fighter the movie was pretty bad wasn't it?

Movies from games are like games from movies: sometimes they hit the spot, but most of them just miss by a few miles.

They should make a Halo movie (eh...). Metal Gear Solid movie too. They may as well close Hollywood after that.

the hitman movie is looking preety cool

Most of the time, the attempt to make a movie from a game doesn't work out. Same with making a game from the movies. All they do is fill up the shelves of Blockbuster and take the place of all the good games....anyways...If they DID do a good job I'd love to see....
