Games with AMAZING intros? Good or Bad game

Hello there people I couldn't help noticing something that almost always lies to you about the game's graphics gameplay is the game intro. Sometimes the intro is good and the game is bad or the intro is bad and the game is a lot of fun. I've been looking for amazing great intros.

This is the Custom Robo intro for the Nintendo Gamecube (I wish the game was like that). It is epic, even more epic than some intros I've seen nowdays (that game was released ages ago) I doubt there are a lot of intros better than that one, of course there are...but not a lot.

Final Fantasy X when the city got attacked, blitzball baby!

Resident Evil 2 & 3

Not an intro as such, but the opening Blitzkrieg Americalevel of Turning Point: Fall of Liberty.
Unfortunately, the rest of the game never lived up to the rather good opening sequence.

Sonic Unleashed had an AWESOME intro!!!!!! Thats what convinced me to get the game. It was ok overall but the intro rocked!!!!!! ^_^

I liked the cutscene at the beginning of inFamous where the city suddenly explodes!

I don't really care about intros, to me, all that matters is the gameplay, but DK 64's intro was amazing, see it there. that was the only intro that I really liked.

Resident Evil 4 has a pretty awesome intro, from Leon's opening RE lore monologue through the first battle in the village. Good stuff.

saints row had a cool intro your just walking down the street then it erupts into chaos

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

Beautiful, and reminiscent of FFVII's opening scene.

None of you can deny that this was the most epic intro of any game back in 1998.

Seriously though, this intro is probably one of my favorities. Probably the best out of the whole franchise.

I'm a huge fan of the Battlefield games, and Battlefield 2142 was a fantastic game with, in my opinion, a fantastic intro. Watch this before you play the game and you're fired up and ready to roll!

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty had an awesome intro. Final Fantasy XII also had an awesome intro.

I remember thinking Soul Edge had a great intro.

Mass Effect was really good and so was GTA 3

I always thought that Final Fantasy 8 had a good intro.

Onimusha Demon Siege - the opening movie had about the best graphics I've ever seen on the PS2.

We talking about the opening scene of the actual game once you start "new game" or the opening video that constantly reruns?

Either way, I can name a ton in my opinion. Final Fantasy 4 through 12, Metal Gear Solid 1 - 4, Persona 3 and 4, Street Fighter 4, Star Ocean 4... is that enough?

Final Fantasy III and IV had pretty good intros.

Definatley MGS4 opens up action-packed with epicness cant get any better then that

the intro to onimusha 3 was pretty damn amazing back in the day. Not sure if it is on youtube or not but defo check it out.

MGS3's intro was the best I've seen to date.

I just started playing COD 4 for the first time and the car ride at the beginning was really intense. I was impressed.

Not looking so much at the intros, but i like the Diablo and Oblivion intro :D

Bioshock. Crashing, walking through that sketchy building, through the Bathysphere introduction to Rapture, and the first splicer you see...

The first time I saw it, I knew nothing about the game, and all I thought was "Wow". Didnt stop playing for days.....

The best old one was SSX Tricky because I love the song.

Castlevania PoR and OoE also seemed to have good openings to me.Hegna1

Dissidia FF is my latest favorite. Totally crazy and over-the-top, but it really gets your adrenaline pumping.

Final fantasy VI's was very epic. especially when seeing those magiteck armors trekking through the snow, as that beautiful tune is playing in the background.

One of the best intros would be the one for The Witcher.

Full motion-capture, real swordplay.

Took longer than one year to make it.

Devil May Cry 3, God of War, & Prince of Persia: SoT all had pretty sweet intos, intro movies at least.
