5Th Generation was basically the turning point for Video Game soundtracks for everyone with massive leaps in quality (Unless you owned a Neo-Geo the gen before and shelled out the money like this guy posting here) So:

List the games with the best soundtracks of any 5th generation system. Example:

Lynx:Tempest 2000

N64: Bomberman Hero

PSX: Speed Punks

Saturn: Sonic R without the singing on.

Neo-Geo: Neo Bomberman

PC-FX: Vorta Force

3DO: GEX

Etc.

Now these are just example, now with you guys name your favorites.

Zelda, FF7. That's all I can think of at the moment lol. Of course OOT's soundtrack was amazing. Not just for a game, but good to listen to in a general sense.

Metal Gear Solid. Not discrediting other games, but it really was the game that made tv/film studios take notice of the games industry. That game, and its music, really had a profound effect on the tv/film industry. Odd, considering it draws so much from a certain film series.

It's mostly the nostalgia and impact it had on our kid-selves back when it first came out, it's what defines fandom.

And if you find it weird, what are you doing here?

I am here to diagnose your problems so you can figure out the solutions yourself. Just kidding. Or am I?
