um, thats tough. I really cant think of a game that i hated but kept playing. i usually stop playing any game as soon as I decide I hate it.
- final fantasy vii
- dragon age origins
- tales of world: radiant mythology (not really hate, but forced)
those are ones that comes to mind as of now
DMC4 :/ I kept hoping it got better.

forgot to mention it :P
DMC4 was an utter disappointment.
Serious Sam: Next Encounter for the PlayStation 2 is the only one that comes to mind. That game was awful. If it weren't for the fact that I was playing it for review, I'd have probably given up on it after the first couple levels.
The entire Mega Man series on the NES. We'd all go as a group and rent a few games and whenever we saw there was a new Mega Man out, we always had to rent it and beat it. We knew what we were in before even starting up the game, but looking back they are just really really good games--just very challenging.
Carmageddon 64. It being possibly the worst console game of all time didn't prevent me from playing it a few times so I could gaze at its crappiness in full glory.
And Crysis, I suppose. Now, I don't hate it and I don't consider it a bad game, but I just don't like playing it, yet I want to go beat it eventually (I'm about halfway) just to get it out of my backlog.
MW2 single player. Very weak, but I want to finish it just to say I did. It supposedly only takes 5 hours anyway.
I don't play games that hate, but I did kinda force myself through God of War 1 & 2. i just wanna see the series, but the gameplay is pretty tedious and annoying at times. My brother also bought GoW 3, i'll probably do the same with that. It's not a terrible series, it has some cool things in it, it also just hassomebig problems.
If I hate the game I don't finish it. But I suppose... Xenosaga II sucked real bad and I shouldn't have wasted my time beating it.

i actually liked it more then 3 but the 1st one is still my favorite"Bruce Lee" on the Xbox 1.
I like beat-em-ups, so I did enjoy it at first, until near the end & after I beat it,
I realized that my friends were right: it wasn't that great of a game,
mostly due to the lack-luster gameplay & hit detection problems.

"Smashing Drive" for Xbox 1 as well.
Erhm, just stick with "Crazy Taxi," or some other popular arcade racer:
this one got frustrating & tiedous, even though it seemed like it would be fun at first.

"Death by Degrees" for the PS2.
Wow; I mean good grief, this game is just plain bad.
From the control configuration, to the analog based combat & shooting mechanic,
to the hit detection & horrible camera angles, this game was abandoned by
me before I even got to the half-way point. Worth it only for the 3D cut-scenes,
which Namco is good at doing. Everything else just plain bombs with this one.
I dont really play games after I decide theyre bad, unless theyre pick up and play sorta games, Space Jam for example. Although I bought The Godfather for PSP and it came with an offer that if I wasnt happy with the game I could return it and get my money back within 7seven days. I finished the game in under 2 hours, I thought that was pretty disappointing so I returned it a couple of days later.

Gears of War 2. I kept playing because i wanted it to be good and because i wanted to see what all the hype was about...and because i wanted the achievements for finishing it...i hated that game. so much. I gave it more than a fair chance, i just didn't like it.
Xenosaga 2
Muddled through it because I already played 1 and I had 3 sitting there waiting to be played.
DMC 4. And I still will play it. Hexan for N64. I still play to this day. But lord do I despise every moment I spend on it.Mrbojangles34It could have been such a great game, too. And many of the levels are great! But the problem is that dang level hub that keeps respawning monsters. That's annoying as heck!

But the problem is that dang level hub that keeps respawning monsters. That's annoying as heck! Exactly, I can't think of a better premise than basically doom with fantasy in it, but that is so annoying, and some of the levels still do not make sense to me. But I soldier on haha.
Ninja Gaiden 2. One of the worst games I have ever played but I borrowed it from a friend, I started it and I just wanted to finish it.
Robowarrior, Arrow Flash, Mystyc Defender, Jewel Master, Gain Ground, Alien 3 (SNES), Alien Trilogy bad bad games, but incredibly consumed me, when teenager, much time
Robowarrior could have been a ton of fun, but that stupid timer on each level ruined the whole sense of exploration; which is what attracted me to the game. Hmmm. Now that I bring it up, I wonder if there's a Game Genie code to stop the timer. There has to be...Robowarrior, Arrow Flash, Mystyc Defender, Jewel Master, Gain Ground, Alien 3 (SNES), Alien Trilogy bad bad games, but incredibly consumed me, when teenager, much time
hurriflash
GTA4, i keep on wondering where the 10 is in this game, its certanly not from the gameplay/graphics nor story :sSolid_Tango
I would also say Grand Theft Auto IV as well, I don't know why people gave it a 10. But I found GTA IV disapointing, most of the missions were almost the same that we've seen in the last games.
