I like Lemmings, which you have probably heard of,and I am also playing the various sequels and spin-offs that you probably haven't heard of: Lemmings 2, The Lemmings Chronicles, The Adventures of Lomax, Lemmings Paintball, Lemmings 3D, and Lemmings Revolution. I think Lemmings 2, 3D, and Revolution, while not masterpieces, were well-designed enough to have deserved a bit more attention than they got.

Another game that you probably haven't heard of that I play is The Matrix Online. Yes, I know the Matrix sucks. I'm a fan anyway for some reason. It really is possible to be a fan of something you know sucks. Anyway, The Matrix Online may well be the single least popular MMORPG to last over two years.

So what games do you guys like that nobody knows exist?

Escape From Monster Manor for the 3DO. It was pretty fun, but also extremely difficult. I felt God-like after I beat it. :P

Man, the original Lemmings was an awesome game, but I didn't really enjoy any of the sequels I played that much.

On topic...Threads of Fate is one of my favorite RPGs, and it's fairly unheard of. Loom is another one, from back in the days of PC adventure games.

Oh man, I remember Kyrandia. Those were great games. I always got lost in that damn fireberry cave or whatever in the first one.

They are old so thats one reason not as well known... the great internet didn't exist back than to spread the word!

Don't these topics like pop up every other day it seems?

I really liked Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay on X-Box but nobody seems to have bothered with it. I only heard of it via word of mouth but it's excellent.

I think they are the developers who made the darkness for the 360. Also an amazing game but not that many people seem to be playing it. I think about 3 or 4 people have it on my friends list. (out of about 40)

"They" would be Starbreeze and I believe you are correct.

In order from favorite...

Gotcha Force

Magi-Nation

Faria:A World of Mystery and Danger

Flying Dragon

Somehow all of these games suffered one fate...over shadowed by more hyped games. And little advertising.

The Longest Journey for the PC and Cannon Fodder for the Amiga-I think, that was such a great game but bloody hard to beat when I was 11 - I think I punched the monitor so many times it made my knuckles bleed. Ah, happy days.

Many games I play are popular. But it seems that people haven't heard of the later Mega Man X games like Mega Man X8. I love that game. And Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 seems stangely unpoplar compared to other games in the series. I also love that game.

Phantom Dust, for Xbox. Has a very hardcore community, might get some more people now that its 360 compatible. Good game collect skills then use them in fights. Not like card game fighting, better way better.

Escape from Monkey Island,

Blood Omen 2,

And several PC games that if you searched for, probably wouldn't even find any results.
