Mario maker - 9/10

Bayonetta 2 - 10/10

The Order 1810 - 6/10

Last of us - 8/10

Also, their site logo on the browser tab is an encircled G in the style of the NES logo. I feel like they lean way too heavy towards /Nintendo

@flynngumshoe: unless there is proof of them being bias, there's not much that can support this

@flynngumshoe: Please show me something that proves it. I am sick and tired of the just to a site being paid off because of the reviews or there another reason for a bias.

You found a pattern in 4 numbers but please explain more. Atleast explain why those numbers matter so much.

Hmm, i would not call it a bias towards Nintendo, it´s more that if you grew up with Nintendo consoles and games and continue to play them they just hit home.

Opposite if you did not grow up with them or did not really play the games, they are just average at best and do not really seem like something you need to play.

Come back with a sample size greater than 4! Mario Maker and Bayonetta are both brilliant games. Those scores are roughly equivalent to the metacritic averages.

You need more than 4 games to prove your point. TLOU was hyped beyond beleive because it was made by ND, it didn't deserve all the praise it got everywhere IMO ... Bayonetta is cool and all but not 10 in my book. Mario maker is maybe nice I don't know, I'm not into making my own level. The order 1886 was very hyped and the end product was nothing like the hype and so it was destroyed.

Biased *towards* Nintendo? Weird. I thought they were unusually biased against Nintendo, such as when they gave Tropical Freeze a 6 (it's an easy 9).

Anyway, Mario Maker and Bayonetta 2 got excellent scores everywhere. Nintendo consistently releases some of the top-quality games in the industry. I don't really see the problem here.

Last of Us is one of those rare games that has a phenomenal single player campaign as well as a multiplayer. It definitely deserved a 10.

Witcher 3 10/10

MGSV 10/10

Journey PS4 10/10

And very few sites gave The Order a decent review due to an overall lack of content relative to the price.

@flynngumshoe: Nope. Not a thing.
Also, Skyward Sword got a 7. Mario Party 10 got a 6, and Treasure Tracker got an 8.

I might not enjoy every one of them, but Nintendo makes great games. They kind of have to since they don't get many third-party titles.

This for sure. Tropical Freeze is so underrated in general.

I've also heard people say that GS has a bias against Nintendo. As others have implied, do not equate perception to reality. Due to selective memory, in a lot of cases bias is merely perceived, not actually there. People think they see a pattern of X and proclaim this site XSpot.

@loafofgame: I mean. I'll come right out and say that I'm a Nintendo fangirl (probably the biggest one in the office). I have 2 3DS's 1 3DSXL, two functioning Gameboy OG. A Nintendo (albeit busted as hell), A SNES (with Mario Paint and all it's accessories), an N64, a GameCube, the Wii, the Wii U (obv) and a tower of games for each. I have a humble collection of Amiibo, as well as a few dozen other Nintendo themed trinkets. I dressed my daughter up as Link for her 3rd Halloween, and I have a professional artist designing a sleeve tattoo that is Nintendo themed.

If I look at the other consoles/collectibles I own... Well... Let's just say it's less.

But this is why I'm not an editor. I can let my fangirl flag fly as high as I want.

@DigitalDame: Haha, I think the only Nintendo related thing I've ever done is play Super Mario 64 at a friend when I was little. It's good to know there are people out there who can compensate for my flaws. ;-)

And while you're not an editor, you still have the power to silence all those Nintendo haters. I do hope you're one of those reasonable fans... ;-P

@loafofgame: I really just love games. It's actually got very little to do with the developer/publisher. Nintendo just happens to have the ones I grew up with, the ones my mom played when I was a kid, and the ones I play with my daughter.

Anyways you can't really hide that nintendo has some serious fandom with those who have grown up with the games. :D

This. I'm an adult with a job that lets me own every platform, so I have no reason to be invested in one over another.

Look at ZombiU and then look at Zombi. DKC: Tropical Freeze also had a terrible review.

They do seem to like to run stories about why we should all buy the latest version of the 3DS.

Don't forget the love they have for Microsoft.
