So I wanted to trade a few PC games in, once I'm at the counter I have him 3 games including Bloodlines, Hellgate London, and Quake 4.

He accepts Bloodlines and Quake 4, but tells me "Noone will be buy this worthless **** refering to hellgate and throws it at my face. I took all my games back and left without saying a word later filling out a Police report.

Is this normal for this place to act like that?

Maybe he thought you had a sense of humor or something or you thought it would be funny? Either way, I wouldn't want my employees or "game helpers" throwing vdieo games at me UNLESS I asked them too.

No they don't. I went to many Gamestops and they never sell used PC games. They're gutted though, but never used.

???

But they don't have shelves of used PC Games. Just new ones. At least not in the US, I'm about 95% positive.

You're right.

But they may appear used because they're gutted. THe Gamestop's I go to have so many gutted new PC games that they look used and all banged up. Which is why I hate their policy on PC games.

I had one near my house that used to sell used PC games too. They quit doing that about a year ago, though.

Especially since something that is being claimed to be as serious as this is being posted up without any real means of being substantiated as being true (namely due to things like, as posters have noted, GS not taking in used PC games anymore), I'm simply going to lock down this thread, because I highly, highly doubt that any meaningful conversation is going to build from this thread.

Furthermore, we already have a thread where people are talking about being given poor customer service...but even then, I'm skeptical of this particular situation.
