I just called GameCrazy and they said they couldnt tell me how much they would offer me for my 360 and games unless I brought them into the store......why? I want to know so i don't have to go over there to find ou they might give me 12 bucks for one of my gameshaloofduty4
GameCrazy doesn't give trade quotes over the phone. Its policy.
GameStop,GameSpot,GameCrazy,EBGames... meh. My horrid experiences have taught me if the place can put up a neon sign, and build other shops that are exactly the same everywhere...well... Somebody's making bucks and I'm not getting much back myself. Sure-they 'got the stuff', but they're gonna take most of mine for that honor.
I'd say eBay/amazon (in a whisper,anyway-Credit card involved, etc.) But my plastic isn't usually so great.
I do manage to find some local independant 'Mom and Pop store' merchant that's willing to cut a fairly decent deal, since they don't have a networked neon sign to power. Also-they realize there's a good chance that I know where they live, so they tend to be more user-friendly. Sometimes I'll even swap games with their kids. Like the old days of comic book trading in a tree fort... Not much in new games to swap these days anyhoo.
I've never shopped at GameCrazy because there isn't one near my house, but I've looked at some ad's from them and I must say they have some sweet deals.
