Ok so I've recently wanted to take advantage of the large amount of time i spend on the computer and put it to good use. Ok so here is plan, my plan is to start my own gaming blog but that isnt just about reviews or news. Why don't i want my blog to be news heavy? Well becuase bigger name blogs already do that, and honestly i hate reading peoples blogs becuase all they do, is pretty much lazy half assed work that consists of reading a bigger name blog and then rewording the same story on theirs. So my question to the people on here is....What makes a blog interesting? What would keep you coming back if it wasn't news? Would a daily poll be a good idea? What about a daily topic that would get you thinking about how the industry is doing? Well just wanted some ideas or what you think of smaller unknown blogs.

a new popular trend is videoblogs. many people already make blogs, but a half hour show once a week would probably make it more outgoing. and if you do it right its more likely to bring people back.

I would read/watch a blog dedicated solely to game design or game programming.
