Bioware, id software, bungie, and Nintendo. Bioware because ToR was a complete failure in my eyes id software because their previous games like Rage could have offered so much more while being a bit more conservative. Bungie because they sold the Halo franchise. Nintendo because I haven't enjoyed playing any console they have come out with since the GameCube. What are some companies that have disappointed you recently that you'd like to see make a comeback in the next few years? Edit: Added on

SNK. With what Capcom has done to the fighting game industry SNK's presence has never been missed more. Haven't heard a peep from them since the excellent KOFXIII, but if SF4, MVC3, and SFxT are what passes for 2D fighting games these days I don't want to live on this planet anymore. At least Arc System Works hasn't totally forgotten what made them great.

Square-Enix, internally speaking. They have proven to be compitent publishers, but their in-house developed games have been pretty sub-par for pretty much this entire console generation.

Westwood with all his alive crew members. With all my hearths i would pre order all of their games. Petroglyph is ok but not so cool as Westwood.

Vostok Games, because after the STALKER series and GSC with STALKER 2 getting shut down, I want them to be successful! Monolith, because FEAR 1 was so spiffy DICE, 'cause Battlefield 4 so soon after Battlefield 3 makes me sad, and I'd like more new creativeness and less flashy hotdog awards (but styIe of game, their intended direction, and the 'times are all reasons that I might just have moved on :'] ) Crytek, not because Crysis 2 and 3 are bad, but 'cause Crysis 2 seemed a little simplified, Crysis 3 seems toooo easy and similar to #2, and I want to see what they'd do if they made a big new creative shiny game (and that Crysis/Warhead hold a special place for mee) Nintendo, new IP would be interesting! or big switcharound like with Metroid Prime 1 but I can't think of another one
