The title should say it all. What game do you like that either has a bad reputation (and you know about it) or isn't well regarded among your peers?

I would say Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls are these in some cases, because I know too many people that don't like their concept or story at all. While I acknowledge these games are far from perfect, they're still enjoyable to me.

What about the rest of you?

I love Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub Zero and Mortal Kombat: Special Forces

Alundra 2 is one of my favorite games but received negative reviews

I enjoyed playing through Aliens: Colonial Marines in co-op as well

Same goes for State of Emergency 2, Predator: Concrete Jungle, Ninja: Shadow of Darkness, Crusaders of Might and Magic, Covert Ops: Nuclear Dawn etc.

Besides, don't call them guilty pleasures, like whatever you like. They just happen to have a more negative reception with other people

EDIT: Another game I played to death was DBZ Ultimate Battle 22 :D

I loved every game in the army men series, I may have been the only one though.

Sovietsunited:

I love the fact that you brought up Ninja:shadow of darkness, I was managing a funcoland when that game came out and I loved it, everyone I know made fun of me for it, granted none of them ever even played it, but that game was sorely under rated.

I guess Call of Duty. But then again, it's not cool to hate CoD anymore since Battlefield is the newest punching bag.

I liked Deus Ex: Invisible War which gets alot of hate. It's still a good game nonetheless.

Plants vs Zombies. Love that shit.

Dance Central. I actually own all 3 titles released for Kinect. It's really enjoyable. It's more fun that most supposed hardcore games out there on the market. If I were to choose my favourite, I'd choose the second Dance Central game with all the improvements as the first Dance Central felt like it was rushed out the door for the release of Kinect.

Edit: Oh and I play alot of smartphone games that I surprisingly find enjoyable. At least stuff like Words with friends, Draw Something, Songpop etc.

Bayonetta -I have platinum the game and I still go back to it and play it even after completing the game a good 13 times, some people don't appreciate a extremely awesome action game just because it did not sell enough copies-

WWE games -of course they are wrestling games so only people that are fans will probably enjoy them. but I always feel weird when I buy one at the store lol-

I like Heavy Rain and Beyond and encourage their concepts and designs.... But they are not games.

anyway, my guilty pleasure is pretty obvious....CO-OP ! Just put it everywhere.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Army Men series! I am currently trying to find Army Men Sarge's Heroes for the N64. Don't be ashamed! lol!!!

Are you talking about the PS2 one right? I enjoyed the first level of it, but never went pass any of that.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare.

The game is not great, but I played it a ton back in the day.
