Has anyone but me ever been playing a game, and just hit a wall? Gotten to a boss that you just cant beat? Or a puzzle that just doesnt make any sense? Has anyone been so frustrated that you just shut the game off and storm out of whatever room youre in, and then picked up the game months later to try again? And has anyone noticed that it seems whenever you picked up the game after your "break" that whatever point you were at in the game that you remember being so impossible has suddenly turned ridiculously easy?

The point of this is to ask the question:

Do gamers just get better with age?

Interesting theory. I know I have certainly hit that wall point before. Most recently in the first Assassins Creed. I'm stuck on one Assassination. No matter what I have tried I just can't get past it. So I got fed up and haven't played it in months. Now with AC2 on the horizon and in a hurry I guess I better break it out and try again. Hopefully your theory is right and I will be able to just walk right thru it this time

I would say its more cerebral, you get so frustrated that your mind wont let you figure out a way to win.

You come back later forgetting about what made it so hard and figure it out with a clear mind.
