GGD Lounge - The 'I couldn't think of a clever title' Edition

Hey everyone! It's time for a new GGD Lounge. I decided to go old school with some Space Quest. So... uh... what's happening with you guys and gals? It is a pretty boring day at work. We just finished up a big war memorial project and now I've got some downtime before the next big thing comes along.

Hehe, that's fine by me. I remember years back when GGD was the place to be, but I kind of like what it's become now. It's more quiet, with our handful of regulars, newbies and others that stop by every once in awhile.

Basically, just chilling. I've finished dinner, watched an episode from season two of The Wire on DvD, and now listening to internet radio.

I recently bought a Gamecube, (never owned one before), and am thinking about the titles I need for it.

I do to. It is a good board for sure. It is kinda fun to that this is a quiet little corner of the internet. I do wish it was a bit busier though.rragnaar

Thanks for the title suggestion rragnaar. I'm kinda sharing the GC with my niece (who I'm turning into a gamer.) She loves arcade titles, so it's ideal. I thought it was just for N64, and will keep my eyes peeled.

Sherilyn Fenn's dance never gets old. it's weirldly hypnotising! :) It's cool to see another Peaks fan on the board. The show was brilliantly written. Embarrassingly though, I've been a cult tv fan since '94, (blame my relatives in Oz for getting me hooked on The X-Files), and never watched it until this year.

Six months or so behind the rest of the world I have finally beaten Dragon Age. I am now trying to decide if I should replay it with a different race and class right away, or if I should play something else first... decision, decisions...ChiliDragon

I have been lost in Elemental: War of Magic. It has been receiving mediocre reviews across the board, and the game was unfinished upon it's release. I can't imagine what it would have received in reviews had the game been in tip-top shape, and judging by Stardock's history with their games, I can't wait to see what it will look like in a couple of years.

I highly recommend this game in about a month. I'm enjoying it very much now, but I think it will be in a lot better shape in about a month. That's great you enjoyed Stardock's previous installments though. I'm fairly confident you will love Elemental when they get it at 100%.
