The gameplay of anything revolving around actuall investigations will be subpar. Its always subpar !
Was your original post not a recommendation then?
@Pffrbt
No They're not.... And besides, TC might not be interest in the the entirety of the game... Just the investigation parts. Which those games have a done pretty well in those areas. :p
Soul Suspect's story and investigation aspects are both completely idiotic, and the game is buggy as shit to boot. Origins is the worst iteration of an already mediocre series. Remember Me is a Batman wannabe of slightly lower quality.
@Pffrbt
Murdered Soul Suspect suffers the same problem all Adventure games do, Unintuitive Design and Ass Backards Logic, the only thing I can't excuse is the Brute Force problem solving, they shouldve sorted that out during preproduction.
Origins was basicly the same as its predecessors, its only crime is knowing how to copy a great game well.
Remember Me is exactly what you say it is, damn It was absolutely horrible, but But those Memory Remixes sections were fantastic, you can't deny that... Well you can but if you're a fair man then you wouldn't. :p
The Gabriel Knight series has the best combination of investigation and history. Easily. By far.
They're a great trio of adventure games, each with a supernatural murder (or kidnapping) plot to unravel, each inevitably tied to real world beliefs, history, and mysteries.
Besides that, if you're looking for a great detective game, I'd suggest Discworld Noir. Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and its sequel are also pretty excellent.
Murder Soul Suspect, Batman Arkham Origins, Remember Me, Wolf Among Us
All of those are bad outside of Wolf.
They aren't bad, but they aren't great either. Origins was great though imho. Had better pacing than the other games

Not necessarily. Murdered: Soul Suspect had pretty bad mechanics overall, but the narrative was interesting until they completely gave up halfway through. Batman: Arkham Origins was more of the same from the series, but had a weaker story and a more cluttered combat setup IMO. I still haven't played Remember Me or Wolf Among Us, so maybe those aren't so bad? I've only heard great things about Wolf Among Us though.
Try uncharted Waters online if you want adventure games. :). i played that game too but since Rohan opened a new server i decided to come back.

To have the best LA Noire experience, it is impairative that you think.... Thy game won't punish you for getting the questions wrong, so if possible, resist the urge to just guess you your way through. A good strategy is to complete one case per day (not including tutorial cases).
