One day left till Grand Theft Auto IV turns three years old, congratulations Rockstar Games / Rockstar North! You created a game which was played by millions of gamers and even today many people like to walk through Liberty City plus you reached an average score of 98% and so you are on top of metacritic's list. This is my (Silenzorr's) wishlist.. Not everything I wrote here is new stuff, some are new, some should stay like in Grand Theft Auto IV and some weren't in IV but in previous GTA titles. SINGLEPLAYER *Create your own mission: With this feature, you would have an absolute beast game with endless fun. Just a simple editor for fun with many different mission types to choose. Friendly NPCs, enemy NPCs, location, cheap cutscene with text information, simple but will deliver sh*tloads of possibilities. *Lifelike city: Much random stuff for example when you drive through the city you see policemen surrounding a bank. S.W.A.T. rope down from helicopters on top of the bank. Firefighters trying to extinguish the fire of a house or something like that. Two gangs are fighting each other and someone calls the police. You see how someone is dealing with drugs. A police officer is holding a driver off the street and checks if he is drunk. Someone is using a person as a human shield and tries to escape from the cops. A medic is reviving a person on the streets. Criminals get caught by the police, they get handcuffs and the cops driving them to prison. And many more situations which will keep the city interesting. *Making decisions with consequences: I liked the idea to be able to choose whom I should kill or if I should kill him or not. I would like to see more of those decisions but with more consequences/influences to the story. Also in random situations like when a woman gets robbed and you bring back her bag. Maybe implent a good/bad karma system. *Main missions: Many missions with making use of different gameplay styles like for example stealth and having more than one option to play a mission. Different types of missions. Checkpoints in missions. Replay missions. *Side missions / Jobs: Policeman - wear policemen uniform, call reinforcement, arrest people, drive them to police station. Medic - wear medic uniform, revive people with defibrillator or drive them to hospital. Firefighter - wear firefighter uniform, rescue people from burning houses by using extinguisher and fire hose. Taxidriver - pretty much self explaining, simple. Assassinations - bonuses when not making mistakes. Roberring - wear mask, rob stores, break into peoples houses, steal money and other things. Import & Export - sell cars, buy cars. Drug Dealer - buy drugs, sell drugs, be alert of police traps. Burger shot - wear Burger Shot uniform, in the first missions having a job by Burger shot, sell burgers, clean the floor, clean toilets... hehe. MULTIPLAYER *Red Dead Redemption RELOADED: Pretty much everything from Red Dead Redemptions multiplayer should be carried over. Having free roam as the main multiplayer mode, create squads/posses, no lobby like in Grand Theft Auto IV. Mini games and activities from singleplayer also playable in multiplayer like pool, darts, poker and many more. *Difficulty: Casual with auto aim, normal with little bit auto aim and expert without auto aim. In all modes when you sprint or shoot with a not silenced weapon you will be shown as a dot on the map. *Missions in free roam: Like for example playing as a cop in multiplayer free roam and catching NPCs on the streets with friends (similar to gang hideouts). Having many different challenges to complete, get cash/xp and buy or unlock weapons. Should feel alot like singleplayer, buy clothes, eat something, rob stores etc. *Competitive modes: Having many small maps to choose like prison, mall, top of skyscraper etc. Return of all game modes plus the new ones from The Lost and Damned like Witness Protection. Team games: max. 4 different teams with max. 4 player in one team for balance. Add more proper and funny game modes. Competitive game modes should be customizable like only sniper rifles and shotguns. An auto kick feature for team killers. *Cooperative modes: Many missions from singleplayer adjusted and also new missions for cooperative gameplay with 4 players. Surviving hordes of policemen. GAMEPLAY *Red Dead Redemption RELOADED AGAIN: In comparison with Grand Theft Auto IV, Red Dead Redemption has better and faster movements. Movements are smooth and nice. Fast roll movement plus rolling forwards and backwards. Changing gunplay view from left to right. *Weapons: Firearms - three types of every weapon category for example three pistols, 1st Glock 17, 2nd M9 silenced, 3rd Desert Eagle. Types/categories: Melee weapon, pistol, shotgun, machine pistol, assault rifle, sniper rifle, grenade/rocketlauncher, explosive, special weapon. Real reloading, not doing like if you are reloading but you are not. Less ammunition for weapons: Pistols should not have 1500 bullets max, better would be like 17 bullets x 10 magazines = 170 bullets max. New melee/special weapons: Riot shield, Taser etc. Riot shield would be used by cops but you could also use them. In combination with a pistol, shotgun or machine pistol. Maybe same weapon interface like in Red Dead Redemption. *shooting: More intensive and make it feel right. Shooting shotguns and assault rifles from cars as a passenger, driver only pistols, machine pistols and explosive. Shooting every firearms including grenade/rocketlauncher from helicopters as a passanger, pilot nothing. *Combat system: Just extend and improve the combat system from Grand Theft Auto IV. First block, then make a fast conter combo attack. There should be plenty of combo attacks so it doesn't repeat to often. *Stealth: Missing in Grand Theft Auto IV and also in Red Dead Redemption. Killing someone without making a noise should make you not visible by the enemies unless they really see you! Stealth kills like break neck, cut throat or using silenced weapon. Undercover missions, disguised in a stealth mission as a policeman or somewhat else to be not noticed. *Free running and climbing: Not that extreme free running but pretty much the basics, jumping over objects fast and climbing on top of buildings. GENERAL *Beeing able to buy apartments. Maybe also customises them individually. *Many buildings with interiors. Police stations, hospitals, offices, stores etc which you can visit. *Interactive with many objects like open/kick doors, use elevators, open car boot, sit on seats etc. Not depending on missions. *Little more destruction: break windows, shoot lights off and other stuff. *Having many options to spend your well deserved money. *The abilibity to submerge. *Unlock "Create your own mission" and maybe other things like first person mode after you completed the story. *Video recorder/editor or at least be able to make screenshots/photos. *Crazy and fun cheats. *Grand Theft Auto IV (RAGE 1.0), Red Dead Redemption (RAGE 1.5), L.A. Noire (RAGE 1.5+), Max Payne 3 (RAGE 1.5++) and now use RAGE 2.0 for the next Grand Theft Auto. *Release date: Autumn 2012 or spring 2013 (Max Payne 3 release date: Spring 2012). I think that this is not everything I wanted to share with you but my head is explodind, I need a pause.. Even when only a fraction of this wishlist would be in the next Grand Theft Auto I would be happy! What are you thinking about my wishlist? Have you other ideas/wishes, then post it here!

Yeah all that would probably make the ultimate game. Although I struggle to see how the create a mission idea will work well. However that is the best idea i have heard. I really want to be able to fly a plane like you could in San Andreas. And i really with GTA V will be set in San Andreas as well as Liberty City for a bit.

I just want good controls, decent mission structure, and satisfying gunplay. No Rockstar game has delivered any of these, so I'm not too hopeful.

lol what. Seriously have you played a rockstar game before? The controls and gunplay have always been satisfying. Sure missions may have gotten repetitive in the past, but in this generation if you have played at least one Rockstar game you would know that the mission structures are at least decent
