Watch the video, apparently a person who works at blockbuster was able to search the release date on a store computer, the release date is supossibly 21st October 2012.

i can see that happening but i was badly burned by gta 4 so no matter what it gets i'm waiting for that price to drop

Considering how many times GTA IV was delayed I'm doubtful it'll be released until 2015.

The guy on that video is more than likely lying about that whjole "I got a friend who works at Blockbuster that knows the release date" thing. I don't believe it for a second.

I'll wait for Rockstar Games to announce the release date and confirm it themselves. It may be entirely possible for them to launch a massive campaign within four months to hype it up and possibly release it on 2012. Either it is released in 2012 or it is delayed until 2013. Either way, Rockstar Games will be the official source, not some random guy that claims to have a source.

I've heard from a few people that they believe it will come out this year. Dont believe it for one second.

GTA 5 will come out next year, sometime in May, or April.

I wasn't pointing out that I believe this date either. I was pointing it out to show that there are several dates circulating so not to believe any of them until it's official.

As for the May release thing I'm going off historic evidence of their release patterns. It's not BS

I think it would be a bad move to release it this October. Besides, R* rarely releases titles in the fall.

It wasn't delayed because it was never confrimed to be coming this year or not in the first place. People heard "A 2012 or 2013 release" and assumed it would come this year and when it seemed like it wouldn't they all claimed it was delayed because other games were too.

I want to wait for the official declaration but it looks like i'll have to wait for my entire life. ROCKSTAR is too secretive!

Realistically, I don't see GTAV being released until sometime next year. Especially with the milking Rockstar can do with Max Payne 3 DLCs. If they were to release GTAV this year, Max Payne 3 would be be quickly overshadowed and forgotten about.

You fool, one does not simply refuses to buy GTA on the release week.

I doubt it'll be released this year. I'm expecting it some time next year around April.

GTA V - First quarter 2013

It is usual for R* to release games in first quarter and beginning of 4th quarter, already read somewhere that the game won't be out till 2013 and I still firmly believe that this date is accurate with maybe Agent being released either Oct 2013 or Spring 2014
