This is just a topic to get everyone's opinions about music in games as of late. There's still a lot of great music in games to be sure ... but I just miss some of the classic music from the 8 and 16-bit eras. If you don't know what i'm talking about then just go and play any megaman game for the NES and you'll understand. Even today I still remember all of the tracks from those games and could hum them for you on the spot ... but I just can't think of any music that is that memorable from games today. Anyways, I'll let you guys weigh in on the issue so lets hear your thoughts!

The soundtrack of Final Fantasy VII comes to mind...

but also Harry Gregson-Williams music for the Metal Gear Solid games stands out. It's so epic.

Gotta love the music from Metal Gear Solid. I also like music from most games though, I really like the music Blizzard produces in games such as WoW. The Brawl music is great, Pikman music is great, Mario music is great, Zelda music is usually great. My point is, most great games have great music, so great music isn't that hard to come by for me, but maybe just because im a music lover.
