GTA San Andreas Wrong End of the Tracks?

How the hell am I supposed to beat this mission? I've been stuck on this mission for a week and I've replayed it at least 50 times. I do exactly what the game tells me to and Big Smoke cant aim for beans. I tried jumping on the train with the ramp but after like 30 tries i cant get it down.

Does anyone have some tips for this mission? thanks

IIRC if you're too close to the train he won't hit anything. Stay on the right side of the tracks with some distance from the train you're persuing and he should be able to take them out slowly but surely. I think you can help him out by getting a SMG and shooting at them while you're driving, but I can't remember if that helps. It's been so long since I've played.

I remember that mission, I had to get my friend to do it for me in the end haha

if i remember right, you dont even have to get on the train to beat it. I recall just driving along side of the train and letting big smoke shoot everyone. you have to go very fast at first and then slow down as you get to the front of the train. I havent played in a while, but i dont recall ever having to get onto a moving train.

This mission drove me nuts too. Replayed is so many times and couldn't beat it until i read online that you have stay far to the right of the train. Otherwise, the guy just shoots the side of the train like an idiot.
