This isn't like the "Relism for GTA 6" thread.

Anyway for me I hope that some features in red dead redemption 2 make it into GTA 6. At the same time they shouldn't bring all the realism from red dead into GTA. But here's some things I want to see in the next GTA

• NPC Interaction like in red dead 2

• Better story than GTA 5's(maybe something like GTA vice city)

• Vice city or a new location

• A few choices in story missions here and there (Like in red dead 2)

• Make interesting characters this time

• A single protagonist (the 3 protagonist idea was good on paper, but none of the characters were as deep as Tommy Vercetti or Niko Bellic)

• More interiors (like Red Dead 2)

• Bring back the casino

•Let us Rob a train in freeroam like in red dead 2

That's all I can think of at the moment what do you guys want to see in the next Gta game ?

More secrets or hidden rewards / Easter eggs to make exploring worthwhile.

A setting of Las Vegas in the 1970s has been #1 on my GTA wishlist for 15 years. I hope someday they finally deliver.

Autorunning. Having to tap-tap-tap X to run is so f-ing last gen, and makes RDR2 pain to play. So, autorunning is must.

All I really want from a new GTA game is to go Japan for once and stop reusing the same damn Cities. I'm sick of Liberty as it is. New location is all I ask.

They did release GTA London before they switched to 3D graphics. It's not unthinkable.

I want to see the next GTA set in the 90's or late 80's kinda of sick of modern day. I also want to be able to enter almost every building in the game give them more meaning.

Combat System: The combat system they use now is complete trash and has been for years.

I don’t care how long it takes or the cost, make it something like the old wrestling games.

How awesome would it be to run up to someone, kick them in the gut and suplex then into oncoming traffic?! Or powerbomb someone onto a park bench and watch it explode into pieces?

That would vastly improve gameplay.

And of course this requires better physics. So do that do.

You makes billions off these games, so improve the damn gameplay.

Interesting to see where they go with the series next. The NPC character interaction has to happen that made red dead 2 such an amazing experience.

Anything but Japan. I'm sick of how people idolize it. It's been covered so much already.

@ajstyles: Yeah, the fighting in red dead redemption 2 is pretty awesome. I'm just suprised it took Rockstar this long to let you grapple onto opponents.

Yeah I hope lots of features from Red Dead 2 come to GTA 6, but it might be tough to implement now that I think about it. Cause Red Dead for the most part is countryside, but in GTA they have to render a city with a lot of pedestrians and cars.

It's been heavy idolize? How so? I mean, I'm just tired of seeing GTA set in the U.S, I just want to see a new location at least. Doesn't has to be Japan, just something really fascinating city is all I ask.

By adding more side activities like in San Andreas, you could go to the gym and work out, also learning fight moves in Martial Art schools, improve the combat, maybe set the game in a new location, and play as one main character not three

Two suggestions from me would be the car handling of GTA4 and the drug dealing of Chinatown Wars

@johndmgs: I sort of disagree with car handling, but yeah I'm suprised drug dealing hasn't been seen much in GTA. Theres's prostitution, gangsters, guns, but yet no drug dealing.

I also sort of wonder how much you can interact with the environment like in Red Dead 2 where you can search cabinets and all that.

Single character story with a character you create yourself.

@vagrantsnow: Nah GTA isn't an RPG. They can't make it a full fledged RPG, but at least make choices like Red Dead 2. Arthur Morgan is an outlaw, but they managed to fit some choices in the game which was a nice touch.

@crimsonllama said:

- better controls, except vehicles. I felt GTA5 nailed driving. Also, RDR2 felt like a major step back with shooting and character control

- A city that feels completely different than LS. What would be really cool is to make a GTA set in modern New Austin. They love to lampoon real life, so what would be better than a game taking place on the border?

- Or, a cold city. GTA5's sections that took place in North Yankton intrigued me. I would love a Fargo type setting. GTA6 will probably be big enough to have varied enviroments like RDR2, so driving through the snow the whole time shouldn't be a thing.

- a little bit more of an arcade feeling. RDR2 is just too focused on realism. GTA6 needs to take a step back from that.

EDIT: Freaking cruise control for vehicles. Saints Row 1 is the only game I can think of that had it, and I have no clue why they ditched it. I loved it.

1. Yeah Red Dead 2's input lag is bad. It takes like a full second for my character to move when I move my joystick.

2. Yeah I mean modern day Miami sort of has a similar atmosphere as Los Angeles does today. They would have to go back to the 80's for Vice City to make it good, but Texas wouldn't be to bad especially with the Mexican Cartel being in that area. It would be cool if you had a mission in GTA 6 where you traveled there. I don't know why people didn't like Guarma in Red Dead 2, cause I thought it was cool, but maybe something like that.

3. Yeah Rockstar hasn't really explored a snowy city so it would be cool. I don't think it should be set in neither of the Dakota's, cause that wouldn't work for a GTA game, but I think Chicago would be a nice place to visit.

4. Yeah the survival elements might not work in a GTA game, but I want to be able to go into restaurants again(like in San Andreas) and get fat, or go to the gym and gain muscle. Also they could potentially make your sex appeal higher depending on how much muscle you have. Maybe girl NPC's ask you to be their boyfriend or something. Or a guy might challenge you to a fight, race etc.. My point is that they should flesh out the world around you to interact to your appearance.

5. IDK what your referring to
