chrono cross and chrono trigger are sequels in about as much a fashion as final fantasy 1 and any other final fantasy (excluding 10 and 10-2, of course). you don't need to know anything about chrono triggerto really love chrono cross.
I came in here expecting to at least be able to make a few guesses. I wouldn't have bothered if I had known you were just going to blurt it right out.
Nooo! Dont play Chrono Trigger first! Make sure you play Cross first, you will enjoy Cross much more without playing Trigger.
It's a relatively lengthy game... It was the first real RPG that I ever played, and it took me ages without really getting close to beating the game my first go round, but now that I actually understand how to play an RPG, the difficulty doesn't seem to be anything spectacular. I know exactly where to go and how to beat every boss, and it still takes me 25-30 hours to play through it from the start.
I had a LOT of trouble when I first played it, at a younger age. Now it's a total joke but I still love it........too bad the 2nd disc doesn't work :(It's a relatively lengthy game... [QUOTE="LiquidClear"]I had a LOT of trouble when I first played it, at a younger age. Now it's a total joke but I still love it........too bad the 2nd disc doesn't work :( Yea I rented the game when I was younger, but I got stuck on one of the bosses because I was an idiot and couldnt grasp the battle system well enough. I eventually bought it several years ago and it was so much easier. It's a relatively lengthy game... A lot of complaints about Chrono Cross stem from the fact that it isn't CT2, and it plays nothing like the original CT. You might enjoy it more if you didn't play CT, so you don't have any expectations.Nooo! Dont play Chrono Trigger first! Exactly, If you play Trigger first and then go into Cross expecting it to be just like Trigger, you will be disappointed most likely. Most people hate Cross for not being like Trigger, but I praise it for being different.Nooo! Dont play Chrono Trigger first! Make sure you play Cross first, you will enjoy Cross much more without playing Trigger.

Maybe I'm missing what you're saying, but do you realize that you have to either be on the world map or at a Record of Fate (floating green pyramid shape) in order to save?
They're closer sequels than the FF series. It's more similar to the Phantasy Star series of sequels. The Chrono series takes place in the same world/worlds.chrono cross and chrono trigger are sequels in about as much a fashion as final fantasy 1 and any other final fantasy (excluding 10 and 10-2, of course). you don't need to know anything about chrono triggerto really love chrono cross.

Great! Did you pick it up at some flea market or something? I once found these two games:
Super Mario RPG for SNES- $5.00
Soul Calibur for Dreamcast- $2.00 ( Mint Condition )
So if you like collecting, visit flea markets often!
Yeah, all guides say 2nd pillar from the left. I've just beat Marcy and talked to the prophet of Truth. Supposedly, if I hit this non-existent switch, a platform will lower and I can fight a guy named Lynx. WHERE IS THAT GOD-FORSAKEN SWITCH?! LOL I can't remember the last time I was this lost in a game.DRIFTIMUS_PRIMEgeez, I need to play this game again cause i have no idea where you are, but I have an idea I think.
Great Bargain. I recently bought Dark Sector for ps3 used and the case is 1 scratch short of new, new booklet, the disk is 100% new. I have never bought a game in such great condition from gamestop, except new. I also got red faction 1 for 3.99 but with a bad case. Add me on gamespot.
Half a penny?Nice find! I recently found Final Fantasy VII for 0.50p, which is less than a $1 :P.
