We all have games that we love to hate. But some of us have something more than just what appears to be hating a game, maybe we know it's really bad and we automatically hate that game, but yet play it and get something out of it. I don't know about most of you, but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one here who has a slight kick out of playing a game that everyone, even me, hates. What all games that have been given horrible ratings do you all have a slight enjoyment out of playing, and probably enjoyable because it's hilarious to see how horrible a job people can do on something that could be millions of times better. :)

I haven't really found any games that I've thought were completely horrible yet...

I despise LJN games (then again, who doesn't?) but every now and then I play one, and sometimes even one that isn't Maximum Carnage

Yeah there's several LJN games that I dislike, although there's still a couple I grew up playing so I guess they left a spot on me, but agreed.

King's Quest 5 for PC was so rediculously hard I hated it, but still played it with a walk through... until I got to the point where I was supposed to through a shoe at a rat but didn't and had to start all over because we hadn't saved it. I gave up on it at that point.

I always try to get my friends to play Rex Ronan because of how atrocious the game is.

Easily one of the worst games ever made.

Takeshi no Chosenjo for Famicom, I could have fun for hours free-roaming around Japan and beating the living day lights out of random pedestrians. A lot of people did not like this game, because due to the fact that it was so different from other games at the time.

I used to play Claymates on my SNES way back when. Everyone in school hated it. I thought it was pretty cool actually.

Ahah, I remember playin' that once or twice. It was so bad but something about it, aside from McDonalds, appealed to me.

It's not hated, but I wanted to hate Mario Party. It just seemed like something I'd hate. But I started playing it with a few people on a couple of occasions got me to liking it, so now I have the DS version (and just beat it yesterday).

I don't think I really ever played a game and enjoyed it because I got a kick out of how bad it was, just doesn't sound like something I would find interesting. There were, however, a lot of games that people despised but I found something that I liked about them.

Not many people liked the game Mario Hoops 3-on-3 when that came out. It was one of the first games I got for my DS Lite and I really enjoyed it for the first few months I had it. Granted, I could never pass the harder tournaments, but I enjoyed the game and thought it was something pretty different from any other sports game I had ever played.

Rumble Roses. I thought the game was just fan service but it was remarkably entertaining, and not just ofr the obvious reason. The gameplay was really fun and there were enough moves and wrestlers for me to keep on coming back.

people say PN3 for the cube is flawed and poor. GS even gave it a 5 or something. but i really like it. it's flawed in some ways, but not broken by any means. the game recycles a lot of level design and bosses (well, recycles a lot of assets really), but it's a core rail shooter that can be very satisfying it you put the effort in. plus, vanessa is hot. ;p she can gyrate certain parts of her anatomy to the rhythm of the game.

I hate to say it, but Shaq Fu. When thinking about any part of the game I can't stand it, but when playing it I occasionally enjoy it, and liked it as a kid before I started differenciating between well developed games and terrible ones.

What is PN3?

it's a shooter on the gamecube. you play as a robotic woman, shooting lasers out of her hand. you just shoot robots, but she learns new moves and it's pretty cool.

I've played that before. Didn't play it long enough to like or hate it, but it didn't attach onto me in any way I'll say that. Seems when we grow up playing a certain game and it turns out everyone else hates it, it leaves you confused. Certainly the case with me and Friday the 13th for the NES.

I couldnt stand Kid Icarus when I was growing up and had an NES, I kept playing it though and as time went on, I hated it more and more. The day came when I finally broke down and threw the game in a sewer grate. That was the best day of my life. =P

That happened for me once :P

I remember when I first got Serious Sam (I think it was the 2nd one), and I really enjoyed the gameplay, but there was just this one area where you fought a ton of those skeleton thingies, and I could never beat it! I tried and I tried, and for days and days I could not beat it, but every day I got madder, and madder :P

Finally I just opened up my CD drive, threw the game like a frisby outside, and then went to pick it up so I could snap it in half.

Oh that felt good, and I did not regret it one bit, but now Serious Sam HD is coming out soon! It's taunting me!

For me it was Space Channel 5 for the Dreamcast. The game was so unpopular and so repetitive, but I loved it.

Ugh that game is insanely hard. I couldn't even enjoy it because of this major issue, it's hard to believe it's considered a big classic title. Sounds like fun throwing it down the sewer grate, sounds like something I wouldn't mind doing to a few games :D

Aw you don't like turning people into frogs? Seriously that game was an embarassment to the franchise.
