Everything that I have read so far indicates that Rock the 80's will come priced at $49.99.  At only 30 songs, which is what all the websites are reporting (including Gamespot), doesn't that price seem a little high?

I am sure that there will probably be some unlockable songs, but at 30 songs, that would make this installment of GH having the fewest number of songs in it's main song list.  If it is considered an "expansion", then it should be priced like one.  Just my opinion :-)

Compared to the price of 360 downloadable songs, that's a bargain, only $1.66 each (360 songs are $2.16 each). ;)

But yeah, that's a little high, but it's a must buy for GH PS2 owners and Activision knows it.

I totally agree with you on the Xbox 360 pricing.  I think they should have joined the iTunes generation and priced them at 99 cents per song.

I had no problem paying the 360 prices -- I mean there is a lot of expense that goes into licensing a song, plus all the development costs.  I just wish they made the songs from GH1 available (and that the songs were individually available -- though I'd still probably get them all anyway.

It is too high, It should have been $40, But I guess I'm part of the problem because there is no way in hell I'm not buying it on day 1 regardless of the price lol
