Guitar hero rock band compatibility?

Hey guys I got a quick question. I have a wired ps2 guitar hero controller that came with the original guitar hero. Would this guitar work with Rockband?

I don't know for sure but I am quite certain that corded GH controllers would work with Rock Band because they are pretty much exactly the same make. Same buttons same everything jsut different look. Just ask a shop owner, they would know. It's just like buying a logitech controller for your PS2 rather then a Sony one. Same diff. But don't rely completely on my answer - do a little more research.

Guitar hero guitars and microphones can be used with rockband, but rockband guitars cannot be used for guitar hero. So, yours will work for rock band.

the rock band microphone also works for guitar hero, but yes you can use all guitar hero guitars for rock band, you cannot use rockband guitars on guitar hero because of the solo buttons.
