I was wondering if Halo 3 is as fun to play alone (not online) as it is with playingmultiplayer. Well,I know it probably can't compare to multi, but is it still at least fun to play alone?? I just got a 360 for xmas, so thanks for any input.

Yea it's alright its fun an all but it is a bit to short i'de buy it.

Oh yeah I definately think so. Online multiplayer is tons of fun obviously but I found the single-player campaign to be well worth it also especially on Legendary difficulty.

I thought it was a great campaign, just way too short. I didn't realize how short it was until I timed it in my blog, but last time I played it, it was just a little bit longer than Call of Duty 4. Never realized that until now.

Halo 3's single player campaign is fun, but it's all too familiar. And like everyone says, it's short. But it's worth playing to see how the story unfolds and ends.

Halo 3 was alright. It's a lot like Halo 2 than Halo: Combat Evolved. I still feel like there's something missing from Halo 2 and Halo 3. I'm not quite sure what it is whether it's the story or the gameplay. Perhaps it's nostalgia playing tricks on me but I still find Halo do be a better made game and a better experience.

I have never played the first two (well, partial lie, I played the first for about an hour...) and was never too impressed. I got Halo 3 as part of a bundle when I got my Elite a couple of months ago, and when I first gave it a go, I played it for about 3-4 hours straight. It was good fun, and I have reconsidered my stance on the Halo series. I kinda want to play the first two to actually have some sort of idea (or, at least, a better idea) of the story and how everything leads up to the events of Halo 3.

I don't understand why people say it's too short. It's as long (if not longer) than most FPS and they don't drag things out either. Anyway I think the SP campaign is great but it's even better with 2-3 other people :D
