The campaign in COD4 is only 6 hours. Halo 3 doesen't have better multiplayer then COD4.

Unless you're a huge halo fan, get COD4 for the multiplayer, which I think is deeper. If not, just pick one.

I've played both games and think CoD is better. Halo 3's multiplayer got boring fast and even though CoD's campaign was short I thought it was more fun than Halo. But If you think Halo is better then I guess that's the one for you.

Call of Duty 4 was a truly great game, compromised only by the shocking brevity of its campaign. But for an FPS experience, I believe it's unrivaled. It's by far the most intense shooter I've ever had the pleasure of playing.

Halo 3... well... it's a bit generic and a bit silly in its SP campaign. Multiplayer is great, but I still believe that true greatness of games needs to be judged on the impact of their Single Player. In this respect, CoD4 wins hands down. It's only my opinion, but I believe CoD4 to be of a much, much higher quality than Halo 3. It's in a completely different league....
