Halo series best ever?? and for a long time?

Tell me what you think is halo series the best ever and will be for a long time?

Not in the least. It gets totally trumped by game series like Mario, Zelda, Castlevania, Metroid, etc. that have been out for more than a decade. Unfortunately for Halo, it is going to get milked so badly over the next few years it won't ever be able to match the quality of series like Castlevania, Zelda or Metroid.foxhound_fox

Of course not but how many non platforming Mario games have there been? I'm actually curious to see how many games featured Mario in the last 5 years. Besides hasn't Shigeru Miyamoto not been the main man working on the platformers for some time now? What I'm saying is that the people working on the games need to be given a fair chance first. Rare is still the same company but many people are different from those that were there during their time at Nintendo and for them it didn't work out.

Threads like these make me feel old (no offense to the TP). Serioiusly, I can't count the number of times this question has been disected and analyzed over the years. It is a never ending debate.

Halo is a good game and a fun series. Thats all that should be said.
