This is a little bit early, at least in my time-zone but I wanted to start a thread in recognition of June 23rd - as the first Sonic the Hedgehog game / birth of Sonic occurred on June 23rd 1991. I'm posting this, as I did not see a topic on this already.
The main reason I remember June 23rd is due to the fact that it also happens to be my mom's birthday.
Sorry if this was already mentioned, but again, I did not see any other threads mentioning the anniversary of the first Sonic game anywhere, and thought General Games Discussion, along with the Legacy Platforms forum might be interested.
