yep I find it hard to choose between the X1 and PS4.

X1 is less expensive but the exclusive that I'm looking for are remakes ( Halo MCC and Gears ).

For the PS4 I'm looking for the Last Gardian and Bloodborn but Bloodborn doesn't move me that much either. I don't care for Uncharted.

Everything else is pretty much the same but I don't want to buy a system and it will die next year.

@Coco_pierrot: what do you care about? I chose the PS4 because it has superior multiplats and gets more interesting indie games. I also like their exclusives more

I chose Xbox One because I like their exclusives more, I prefer the controller more, and I prefer their online service more.

Sounds like you should just be patient and not get either until something tips the scale. That's my truly unbiased opinion.

Sometimes gotta look ahead or wait, but maybe these couple questions can help... What has more coming that you want? If you play with friends what console do they have? Which company do you like more? Which controller suits your fancy?

i say its not worth owning either systems right now. ms has some nice exclusives coming out later this year so that might sway your vote.

my personal preference is the ps4...my xbox1 hardly gets any play

It wasn't hard for me at all....PS4. Microsoft helped me make my decision before both consoles were released.

@meathead373: to respond to those questions ( it may help someone else too )

I'm looking forward to FF15, Persona 5, the Last Gardian, Gear of Wars 4

Saddly I don't play that much with friends, when we do it is more on a retro consol.

I,ve been mostly a Sony and Nintendo camper. The oly Microsoft system I had was the 360 until it died and boughtthe PS3. Gears of wars was very fun, probably the only game that I missed, on PS3 it took many years before I liked it like I liked my PSOne and PS2 and even the Vita.

Whatever controler can easily satisfy me.

@Coco_pierrot: Vita works with the PS4 pretty nicely, remote play is way cooler, can play games remote now, use the store, boot the ps4 up, and just runs way faster than it used to, but those are just a few extra things to think about when buying a console, at least for me.

@meathead373: Yeah I know, I saw on the back of some PS4 games that you can use the remote play. I did try remote play on the PS3 when I had a Vita but I finally sold it 2 years ago to get a 3DS and I never regretted it.

It depends which exlusives you prefer, simple as that. Or simply wait till there are more noteworthy games.

Edit: It`s worth noting backward compatability of xbone, if you`d like to play some classics from last gen that is.

@Coco_pierrot: Swear I'm the only person on the planet that prefers the Vita to the 3DS haha, but remote play is way cooler now, runs faster, can play most games, and can actually fly the store with it now

@meathead373: The Vita was the first handheld that got me really excited and like some games for it but ultimatly started to be boring to me and not so long ago Sony really dropped the ball.

@Coco_pierrot: Definitely understandable, it gets Hyperdimension Neptunia which is one of my favorite if not my favorite series around, among other nichey games.

I chose PS4 because a PlayStation console never let me down (I owned a 360 for a while but got broken after 2 years). I chose a PS4 because my friends were with PlayStation too (I also have friends who had a 360 but now they chose a PS4). I chose a PS4 because I like its exclusives much more than X1's. And also because there is much variety of exclusives (Xbox have always been too much sticked to shooter exclusives, unlike PlayStation, which always tried to keep a variety of genders)

Yea Sony has way more & varied exlusives which i love since PS1 days. But i have to give Microsoft some credit for putting backwards compatability on their console. Sony has no guts doing something like that, instead, they pulled the plug on PS3 BC after they "realised" they can do remasters.

I chose the xb1 for the exclusives. Sunset overdrive, halo, quantum break, crackdown, scalebound, forza.

Then I went and bought a ps4 aswell because some friends have one and we play online together. Oh and uncharted 4.

Id say get both if you can, that way you wont miss out on anything.

@Coco_pierrot: Play with the console that your friends have... Makes the whole gaming experience a lot better. I would personally recommend a ps4 though.

@sukraj: Most people, like me, prefer Xbox controllers because the triggers. But the original controller for the first xbox was too big, no wonder they made a smaller & more compact version shortly after, at least from what i remember.

I bought a PS4 first because Sony always makes exclusives that I love...

Got an X1 a year later and I must say, I love the controller enough to allow me to get third parties on X1 mostly. PS4 controller hurts my hand, so it's all a matter of preference.

I say go with the exclusives.
