Ok I haven't been on this in a while so I have no idea if this was discussed or anything so don't act like I'm some idiot. But do you guys will ever think they will create a way for people to play online with each other on the same game but different systems? For example playing Modern Warfare 2 on my Xbox 360 and I would play other players who are playing on their PS3's or PC's.

Hasn't it already been done? I thought there were a bunch of games that would allow PC users to play against xbox users, and vice cersa.

It has been tried before with Shadowrun, but it doesn't really work since PC gamers would have the advantage of accuracy, frame rates, draw distances, etc. Perhaps a cross-over between the 360 and PS3 could work, but I doubt both companies would agree to it.

I doubt that it will ever happen with the PS3, and there are only like three games that support cross-platform multiplayer between the 360 and PC.

It would be unbalanced; PC has better aim than XBox.

They did it with Shadowrun, it worked pretty well with the exception of the lack of PC players. It was a lot of fun playing with my friend who didnt have a 360.

I think the whole idea makes a whole lot more sense for games that are not twitch-based, because invariably, because of the difference in interface, one platform will have an advantage over the other.
