Have current-gen console, want last gen games

Hi,

Since last month I am a happy PS4 owner, even though there isn't a single game out for the console now that I would enjoy. Anyways, as I look towards 2014, especially early 2014, most of the games I want are coming for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Not that I have any major issue as I have a PS3, but I really want to play Castle LOS 2, Dark Souls 2, Southpark: Stick of Truth on my PS4. I want to play them with better quality of visuals or sharpness at least the current gen consoles can provide.

So I was wondering, even though developers say otherwise, will these games come to the PS4 at some point in the near future, is there any chance for that? I know many of the developers say no, I think its wise for them to say so as they need to sell as much games on last-gen consoles before moving to current crop.

I doubt it, some games are just made with last-gen in mind. I get that people want their games to look nicer and everything, but there's nothing wrong with games remaining on past-gen or even some games still being made exclusively for last gen.

Get in not game too expensive next gen is vely good not wot ok bossman.

If it's a huge hit maybe in a year or two. Last gen has better games IMO too. Just the beginning here, though.

@Gamer_4_Fun: I really wouldn't be surprised if they do. Tomb Raider, AC4, and a lot of these games already are. Publishers usually won't skip out on a chance to make more money by selling you the same product multiple times.

I'm in the exact same boat as you man. I got a PS4 with assasin's creed and its great but i've finished it now and theres not much else i want to play on PS4 yet. I'm really hoping the new metal gear turns out to be good so at least by then there will be that to play. And there's watch dogs to.

GI just did a cover piece on the new game from the devs behind L4D. Evolve is going to be PS4/X1 exclusive and that makes me sad.

Does that count?

I'm thinking we could see a lot of those games on the Playstation Now service.
