have you ever thrown your controller out of anger because of a game?

personally, i have not. its just a game, so being angry or frustrated is fine, but damaging something is not ok.

also, given that controlers these days are almost the price of a game, i would never throw my controller lol!

No but my brother's broken 6-7 PC monitors by punching them, 5 PS2 controllers and 3 keyboard and mice. What an idiot!

When I was little, yeah. I never really threw it but I'd bang it on something. lol

So many N64 controllers, so many. My PS2 has suffered equally.

No. I've never understood why people do, either. Is it really that hard to keep control of your self when you're playing a game?

I have tossed a few PS2 controllers playing cheaters online...but now I have a 360 and PS3...them are too expensive to be throwing around...I usually just swear at my TV screen, hoping that they hear me :lol:

Nowadays, if something frustrates me, I throw the controller on something soft like the bed or a cushion or something.

If i get to the point where im gonna do that i stop playing for a while.

I broke a Sega Genesis controller by swinging it against the wall. I was getting frustrated with a game, but I dont remember which.

I threw my gamecube controller to the floor once or twice. However I do occasionally feel like snapping my wiimote in half after a round of mario kart wii (damn blue shells:cry: )

I was kicking my friend's butt in Street Fighter one day, and he got so pissed that he threw the PS2 controller at the TV. It ricocheted back at him and then the controller swung around his neck and arm and he couldn't get it off. It was hilarious seeing him struggle in that tangled mess. :lol:

I did because of hardcore lag in Gears of War 2 Mp. Now my poor controller's battery pack needs to be held with tape and the LB doesn't work very well. D:

No. I've thought about it, I've come close to it. But; controllers are a bit expensive, flat panels are much more expensive.

Yeah, I threw my controller a couple of days ago playing Metal Gear Online.

I couldn't get anything going that night.

Personally I can't see throwing a controller. I paid $39.99 for the Xbox controller for my PC, so I'm not going to waste that money by breaking it.:?

i was also about to ask if anyone ever toss their psp or ds around (since controller is built in), but let's not toss handhelds around lol

I deliberately dropped my controller if that counts. It was ok luckily.

I was speechless for some reason. What pisses me off the most is when some kind of a bug or glitch in a game makes me lose. I curse at the developers.

I throw mine all the time. Not so much in recent times, but occasionally I still do.

I busted a good and expensive PS2 controller. I was playing MGS3 for the first time and The Boss was so hard to beat I slammed it on the coffee table then kicked it on the floor, picked it up and threw it hard against the tiles. Pretty much the whole back was cracked and I got banned from the PS2 for a month.

No. Never. Although i do scream curse words, but i wouldnt do anything that willcause lastingdamage, i can hold my anger back that much at least.

Not purposely. But I have gotten angry a game before, and shaking my arm + sweaty hand + extremely light sixaxis controler = broken sixaxis controller.
