It was on SNES. I remember my dad bought me this 6 in one game pack for SNES. it had super mario world, contra III, goofy, some soccer game, top speed, and this one game that you play as a boy dressed as tarzan. the music was kind of like sonic and the graphics were really colorful. you hit people with a wooden stick in the beginning level, but i really can't remember alot about it. if someone can tell me what game i'm talking about, i will pray for you every night.
bump, i think it was in japanese and also the guy had blue hair and bear skin wrapped around him with a stick like a caveman. actually, he looks like a mix of tarzan and a caveman with it's wooden stick. so does anyone know what game i'm talking about? It was a fun platformer.
It's not Super Adventure Island or Mystical Ninja Goemon, and why would someone think it's Madden? I don't know what else to say about the game. It resembles Sonic's colorful lzones from Sega Genesis.
It's not Super Adventure Island or Star Tropics. I played Adventure Island before. It's not Adventure Island but the gameplay is a bit similar. OMG, I need to know what game this is. I'm killing myself over it. The guy has blue hair and is dressed kind of like Tarzan and you hit people with some caveman like wooden stick. I think you try to save this girl and I think there was a level selection after you beat a couple of levels like Megaman but not exactly like Megaman but similar.
The guy looked exactly like Prehistoric Man but he had blue hair, was a boy, had big eyes, and was very anime looking I think. But the gameplay was very similar to Prehistoric Man. It's not the game though. Thanks though.
Damn it, there are so many games that are similar to this one, but sorry that's not it. It doesn't have the same mood either. It has this sonic feel to it.
Rats! I really thought benthepoet found the answer a few posts back. The second game in that series felt like Sonic, looked kind of like Maple Story, and featured a caveman with blue hair (Mac). Have a peek, just to make sure.
My brain's starting to hurt, so here's one crazy long-shot guess: I remember a game called Incantation being on one of the combo cartridges. The main character is a young boy with a blue hat. He carried a magic stick and the first level was set in a jungle. Survey says...
Dude, I think i've been looking for the exact same game for years... the game im lloking for that sounds like the same thing you're after was just as you described.
To add to the description I remember you have to collect food to keep your energy/life bar up, as it slowly decreases as you play. Ring a bell??
