75% of the news on the home page is about Destiny 2. I'm sure Bungie pays well but it's becoming a bit too transparent at this point. Give it a rest.

Are you a Overwatch fanboy by any chance?

-for clearly you are forgetting the hoopla about Overwatch when it launched, which was way bigger than the noise for Destiny 2. Even though Destiny 2 is a real game, while Overwatch was just a tired rehash of old Blizzard junk.

@ives74: They had that The Evil Within 2 video which I avoided like the plague due to avoiding spoilers after the launch trailer. Good to read the comments as always under. Love that one out of ten states-

"The Evil Within sucks"

lol.

So. . I'd say it's not all Destiny 2, but it is a hot topic for a few here. . .

I just think a lot of GS are Americans. And not to judge, but they like games like Destiny (Space shooters with bad loot systems). It's not like they'll talk about the informative interview Monster Hunter: World just had. GS are not the biggest fan of that series anyway, so just happy when they actually remember the games I like exist.

Otherwise I'm only here for the GD Forums because I've grown fond chatting with a few in this community and like new faces :)

It's the game that will get all the clicks this Summer, especially with the beta out. No one wants to hear about the Fortnite early access or Pyre release I guess.

I found a genius way of avoiding any article on the internet you have no interest in.

You simply just ignore it and don't click on it.

It's a bold idea and flies in the face of current thinking but it works.

For instance I saw a P5 article the other day and as I have zero interest in that game I just move my mouse pointer in the other direction and clicked on something else.

@RSM-HQ: Well that's the thing, regarding those who played the first one I mean. Sure we like shooters and we like loot systems. But I think you'll have a hard time finding people who will say Destiny's loot system was anything other than completely broken. I bought it at release and gave up on it after a dozen hours and after realizing it was going to be repeated visits to the same areas with no variation just hoping something of value would come my way. Even after the updates and DLC most still had major problems with the game, largely due to the inconsistent drop system. Bungie released a very bad game, patched to a sightly less bad game, and then released statements saying they intentionally left out content and back story. Even gamespot was pretty unforgiving and rightly so. But when I came to the site today most of the articles were about the sequel in a "you have to see this!" kind of way . It just seems strange to me. If anything I'd have thought an objective game site would be advocating caution and scrutiny.

I'll admit, I haven't tried the Monster Hunter series. I just took a look and MH World and I have to say it looks damn good. I think I'll give that a try over Destiny 2.

I should be happy as a MH Vet that you made that choice, but honestly make sure you know what type of game you're getting yourself into.

Best way to describe MH for anyone new is, it's like a Boss rush Dark Souls with optional coop and a ton of loot options (tons). Even then I've only scratched the surface lol.

Fun fact, most MH games have DLC, and it's free. Not sure if World will follow that example but the developer always gave DLC for free previously, as limited timed events.

Yeah, it's annoying. Keep a single section for Destiny 2 without every minor revelation requiring its own article.

SURELY you're mistaken. I find not clicking on every article detrimental to my experience on the internet. I have to absorb all the information possible to become a true e-master of the web.

This really belongs in the feedback forum, GS will never see it here, though they probably wont see it there either.

Whether Bungie's is paying or not, there's enough interest in this game to draw in clicks to the site, it's articles, that's revenue right there. The game is tremendously popular, didn't you know?

I'm sorry you're not interested in it, but that disappointment isn't worth making a thread here.
