Hi there,

I always have felt atractio for rpg games. But I only playes Tales of Symphonia on GC. I adored its combat system. real time tactial team method.

I'm trying with Mass effect 3 and Skyrim. I love both, but the first doesn't feel like you are really in control of your team and how to beat enemies, since it's really frantic. the later, I love the atmosphere and exploration freedom but you don't have any team....so far, at least.

Can you recomend me one? freedom when it comes to explore and a tactical team combat system like Tales of? Maybe Dragon Age 2?

Thanks in advanced.

From Nakatomy Plaza, have a lovely Xmas!

PS: totally addicted to Deus Ex Human revolution, though.

Have you played the other "Tales of" games? Like Abyss or Graces? They have similar battle systems. Star Ocean also has a similar battle system--I would recommend The first Star Ocean, or Second Story.

No, the problem is that being action game play and team tactics game play do not work single player. One requires the game to be fast pace while the other require the game to have a slower pace.

X-com, Disgaea, Final Fantasy Tactics, Vandal Hearts, Fire Emblem (not my personal favorite, but lot of people like it), Shining Force (kinda of dated now, but still good), Fallout 1 and 2.

edit: sorry not all of these games are on Steam, but there are other ways to obtain them...
