There are more and more news of live-action movies that are based upon a game beeing scheduled for the theatres.

For example Call Of Duty & Dead Space.

(I liked DOOM :))

I think Bioshock and Fallout would kick a$$!

All those games would make movies... not necesarily good ones. Dead Space and Bioshock could be great, assuming they find the right director and have the proper budget.

I really hope that game based movies turn out better in the future.

Yeah thats the real problem. Historically speaking, game based movies tend to bring teh suck. One notable exception would probably be the first Mortal Kombat movie. Then of course we get the crappy, thrown together movie version of the game to contend with. Movie tie in games also historically bring teh suck. So really, I'm not so sure thats a good thing. It is however more proof of the fact that Hollywood truly is running dry for ideas. Look at most of the movies to come out the last few years. Comic book, video game, old tv show, hell even old movies were the inspiration for most of them.

I didn't think the Tomb Raider movies were all that bad. And the Prince of Persia movie looks like it has potential. Game Informer did an article in their October issues about Hollywood and games. I think a Rogue Trooper movie would be cool. I haven't read the comics, but the game was a lot of fun.

None, only four movies so far based upon Games have been good in my opinion. 1. Resident Evil ( the first one) 2. Silent Hill 3. Tomb Raider 4. Tomb Raider : The Cradle of Life The others have been aweful
