CRT TVs are older TVs, With newer games like Mass Effect 2 and BF: Bad Company 2 the text is extremely tiny.

Yeah, the products are always made regarding the newest technologies. It's not fair, but you'll have to deal with it.

It wouldn't be too hard to do that but it will cost game companies money and there is not enough people complaining about it. Also as time goes on even to implement it, there will be even more HDTV's in homes.

Wait, you mean the text is smaller when on any SDTV? Because for me, it's the opposite. I've barely gotten used to it, but since using an HDMI cable the so called "better graphics" just minimize the font on games and the PS3 menu.

I wonder why it's never an issue with gamers... oh right, you guys sit like, 1 foot away from the TV  ... kidding, I'm just bewildered at how I'm the only who finds it a bit of a hassle.

But in all seriousness, how can you say the PSN store for example, has anything but absolutely minuscule font? And yes I've tried to find a way to increase the size ten-fold, but no dice. Neither pressing 'square' or 'triangle' or any of the buttons help.

I've never really used the PS Store.

It gets annoying on the snow levels of BF: BC2 when I have to squint my eyes to see what they're saying.

They don't really even have to include it with the game. Just include the game with CRT friendly text, then make a DLC for HDTV Text on launch date.

I don't see going through text and making it 1 or 2 sizes bigger that labor intensive, Shouldn't cost much at all.

I use HDMI, and the text is still very small. It's kind of a pain. On the PS store, in various games, all over the place.

Could be the PS3? Because i've only ever had better experiences on HD, including the font. Which is especially annoying on Dead Rising. But fine now on HD. @Topic: Yeah older TV's whether people like it or not aren't going to be catered for anymore :( same with all technology

They should at the very least put a warning on the box when the text is too small and blurry to read on a SDTV.

When you're using technology behind the curve, you should be used to getting the back end of the developments. Heck, I just got DSL two weeks ago. Everything has been geared to high-speed internet for years.

There should be an option for bigger font size. I can't imagine it would be too hard or would break the game.
