I kind of regret buying it not because it's terrible but because I would have rather spent that $60 bones on something else. It's my own fault, stupid purchase..
I think the campaign was really good with some great action moments, and the multiplayer is also really good, with the nice addition of survival mode as well as spec-ops missions returning. The only thing that ruins MW3 is once again the online community. KidsSHOULD NOTbe able to play this game.
I think its great fun. The campaign was intense and didn't drag on but the multiplayer is as addictive as ever. I've taken a break now while I go back to FIFA and Skyrim though.
I personally thought the campaign was kind of "meh". I don't play online MP so can't complain on that. The only part of the game which can justify the money spent on it for me, is Spec Ops. Have had so much fun with it so far, alone as well as with friends.

I love it. The campaign is excellent. I've played through it 3 times, once on Normal, second time on Veteran, then third time on Casual to get a few remaining achievements. The mp is a total blast and I've already prestiged twice now. My only complaints are that the maps feel a bit smallish and cluttered and Survival mode could have been more fun if it supported at least 4 players. Otherwise great game and I'd rate it a solid 9 out of 10.
The campaign was nothing but COD typical warfare, had a few cool spots though. I don't like Survival as much, because while it's exciting, it only allows two players in the action. Why not bring in four? And of course, the multiplayer community in COD is god-awful.
