@The_Last_Ride: i kinda wish i had that ability to be that excited about something as meaningless as E3 and showcases of games that won't be out for years and then when they finally are they are most likely broken beyond belief or downgraded in some way either graphics or gameplay.
But thanks for sharing any how.

but it's amazing what games can do to people. Just knowing that games like this have been announced make men into boys
While I don't doubt they were excited, to deny over exaggeration due to cameras/viewers would be silly. My favorite thing to come out of E3 are the 3 big games Sony shown/talked about and then everyone realizing a week later that those games are years away.
Boys will always be boys.. We know that sometimes we want to escape from reality and do whatever we want that is impossible in real world.
it's not just boys, girls as well
e3 is like a festival for me. i stay up whole night for it.and its one of the best day in the year for me :)
I feel very comfortable when I'm playing these type of games. I think some of the games are educational and provides good sense of humor...!!!!

Sure, if it's not all staged and they work themselves up to it.
It´s like those videos you see when people go crazy over something in a season final or some random news.

you're a downer, there are several hundred videos of this stuff. They're not all fake...

You must be fun at parties. ;p
Seriously though, I think promise is a lot of the enjoyment of gaming. I love hype. LOVE it, and I continue to love it even after years of having games arrive that never meet it (well, a few do). But they don't need to. I like to see trailers of games far off, because they get my imagination running, and entertaining imagination is a great thing. I suspect FF VII will disappoint (in fact I know it will), Shenmue is probably not going to be nearly as ambitious as its predecessors given its budget, TLG....who knows, but this is all besides the point.
It's just fun to see the excitement. Advertisement is a powerful thing when executed properly and I see nothing wrong with jumping on the train as long as you're cognizant to keep expectations in check. What really bores me is being shown games as they'll be. That's dull in comparison as to what my mind can envision, even if it's not going to be the reality.

Yep always fun at parties :D
But i have it completely opposite you, i hate hype and it mostly comes from "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me" So after Watch dogs, Unity, GTA V and many other games in the last few years, i have gotten to a point where i can´t be hyped for what they show at E3 , particular not when 99% of the time they usually end up with a product that is far inferior to what they showed.
But i see you point and i kinda wish i could have that childlike excitement still, but getting old and more cynical :D

Most likely not, but most are fake :D
@The_Last_Ride: youtube is all about over-reaction
and yet you don't think this is real?
When that Final Fantasy VII trailer hit at E3, I reached over to my wife and was like, "It's happening." Same with the Kingdom Hearts 3 showing, The Legend of Zelda U, Halo 5, there's a lot to be excited about and I love that this medium and other hobbies can build that excitement so easy for me. And I'm the same way about film, like when the BvS and Star Wars trailers hit, my hype was through the roof.
And then I have friends who are rather pessimistic or just don't get excited, and then they feel like shutting down the excitement. And it's like... dudes, let me be excited! There is nothing to gain by trying to quell my hype! :P
@The_Last_Ride: how can it be 100% real ? I mean, they film themselves react to something to generate "clicks" so make some money or be seen ... so they over react, it is fake, it is acting and youtube is full of that.

can you actually know that? Do you have proof it's fake?

There is a bigger chance a behaviour like that is fake than its real.
In comparison, your video makes Tom Cruise seem less crazy. It's one thing to be excited, but it's another to claim to be a professional and then throw a chair and cry because a trifecta of games with a large history are announced.
Lol, cool video. It's such a great feeling when you get a game announcement that you've been looking forward to... or even better, one you weren't expecting.

or both :P

Yeah that's the ultimate I think :)
