You know what I'm talking about, you feel like buying some old games to keep in you're collection, when you come up with a dilema. Instead of finding one game, you've found a couple of games you want to buy. How do you break the equality and choose just one? Besides coming here on the internet to ask, what methods do you usually use?

You could try to find demos, trials, videos and reviews. Oh and opinions from you friends are important. If they play any online game, you should choose it over the other game.

A friend of mine pirates games if there isin't a demo available. He buys the game if it's good, and deletes if it's bad.

Oh, and good luck choosing!! =)

I look at what has the better deal and get that one, the others I might pick up later if I wanted

depends if its rare. if one of them has only a few copies and the others have tons ill buy the one i may not find again. i do check the reviews on games here alot so i have a basic idea if the game will be bad or not.

I have to agree. If you find one of the games you want at a bargain price while the others are still at regular value, I always take the bargain.

I'll go and buy a game and I see another one right can not decide what so ever. So I reach into my pocket grab a coin and flip it right there in the store, lol I've did this plenty of times.

Look at price or general availability.

this is not typically something that i EVER struggle with. i get bigger dilemmas out of where or what i'm going to eat than what game i'm going to buy out of the stack that i've picked up in the store. but it depends. if i'm on ebay, i might bid on a few with low reserves and a couple of days left with no real anticipation of winning the auction... if i do, wonderful, if not, who cares; no harm, no foul. and i check and see what they go for and repeat until i feel that i really want to win that game and actually place a bid. it also depends on the condition/shipping and whatnot.

if i'm in a store or something - and since we're in the legacy forum, i'm assuming that we're buying used in a place like gamestop or the like - i usually check the prices, check the sales and check to see if they come with the instructions; if they have more than one copy in case that one doesn't work, and like someone else said, if the price is fair, it's rare and i want it... i pretty much get it. decision made.

the "quarter method" is also useful to employ when dealing with thougher, more narrowed down coundrums.

I would get the one with the best value, since I usually don't buy expensive games I'd get the cheapest one of the bunch.

Quite the same here, I've played and enjoyed many genres of games that's why it's so hard for me when inside a game store.
